Having an Argentinian restaurant in the small town like Pulheim was quite a nice surprise. On many aspects, the Casita is highly recommendable. First and foremost, the meat is top quality.Service was okay. The waiter felt like he had to try to be funny all the time, which was a bit tiring after a while.For some reason, they removed the Gorgonzola sauce from the menu (it still appears on the online menu, though). That was a letdown because this is ma favorite. The meat was perfect, but my papa asada was overcooked.Overall we had a good meal. Now I am a big fan of El Chango in Cologne. The similarities between the two restaurants is striking. The menu and prices are very comparable. Even the little appetizer they bring as a welcome snack is pretty much the same.However, when considering the details, I prefer the El Chango. The place is much cosier, the grill where they cook the meat is visible, the service is better, the price is same or less (while in downtown Cologne, not in a small town), the menu is larger...The Casita is a true contender to El Chango but the sum of all the small things make the El Chango a better choice.

It's a little bit on the expensive side, but it's worth it. Decoration is very nice and there's a little lovely garden outside. Meat is very good, but it doesn't reach the level of my favorite steak houses. In any case it's still much better than your average one. The pasta with beef is huge. Even in this case in which it was not the main ingredient, the meat was perfectly cooked. Service was very nice and accommodating. I will be coming back.

Sehr leckere, gut bürgerliche Küche in angenehmer Gaststube. Ich war am "Haxentag" dort und musste natürlich die knusprige Schweinshaxe mit selbstgemachtem Kartoffelpüree und sehr bekömmlichem Sauerkraut (kenne ich auch anders!) auswählen. Preis-Leistung absolut ok, sogar der reguläre Preis. Die Gerichte an den Nachbartischen machten ebenfalls einen guten Eindruck. Die Sonderkarten machen Lust auf mehr. Parkplatz am Haus (zu fortgeschrittener Stunde etwas überfüllt, da auch Hotel und Kegelbahn gut besucht zu sein scheinen). Service schnell und effizient.

I stayed at the hotel on 4th September for a night and after schedule changes ended up eating here. After some negative reviews I wanted to offer a mega-frequent traveller opinion. The staff are multi-tasked (and -tasking) so the restaurant and hotel are jointly managed. The reception area is very modern and looks good. Our check in was super and efficient despite the comprehensive german police registration forms which I havenât seen for a while but are still in force here. Rooms - super. No A/C but lovely and spacious layouts. I couldnât get a decent WiFi speed but my colleague in the room next door was fine. The bathrooms are nice and my room had a cool new iMac with very designeresque scanner. The restaurant had a lovely menu, the staff are super and the meal was eclectic, Italian-inspired and the pasta was superb. Wine list is short but good. Iâd stay there again if I was in the area. Thanks to the team!
