The family room was a bit old-fashioned, but comfortable. 2 single beds in a separate room and a big living room with a dobble-bed and two armchars. TV, a big balcony and a fridge. The bathroom has seen its best days though.The hotel has free parking and wlan. The main German TV-channels. We had a free breakfast as well (quite many things to choose from, even freshly made scrambled eggs). Very friendly staff and all German speaking.The hotel is located close to the river only a short drive from the center of Maribor.

Patrickâs pub has a great atmosphere. You can order good food and various beers. I enjoy watching football/basketball games there. But the service is slacking sometimes. Some of the waiters donât pay attention enough to customers and are unfriendly sometimes.

The food is amazing, no matter what you choose, with even plentiful vegetarian and some vegan options while the beer selection is quite large for just a restaurant.The staff is very friendly and professional. The wait is a bit longer, so don't think that you've walked into a fast food place, even if their burgers are featured on every table around you.Reservations not needed, but highly recommended, especially around lunch and dinner time.Prices may be a bit on the high side, relative to its location, but it's well worth it.
