During my last trip to Ukraine, I discovered this place. The whiskey collection is huge and even if you don't drink whiskey, you definitely want to try something. I would also like to mention the staff, the waiter served at the highest level. Such a service in Europe, unfortunately, is rarely seen.

The most expensive choice NY lunch steak - 750 grv I had to send it back .and ordered strip burger which was juicy and delicious ..My preciousness experience they had great mushroom soup and creamed spinach but this time mushroom soup was too watery no taste..Then I ordered recommended Beef Carpaccio - I donât like the sauce for Carpaccio ??? Too much vinegar and the plate was so cold ..when I tell this to manager nothing happens welcome to Ukraine ..They open at 12 instead of 11,30 so people wait outside at this cold also waiters speak very little English at thisâ 5 Star Restaurant â.so overall burger black bread and butter ,creamy spinach good ,No. weâd to visit again ...

When you love meat like steak... you should be here. Medium-rare is my favorite and they have prepared it the way I like. Together with vegatables from the grill and some red wine. Next time I'll come back to this restaurant for sure. First the good. My server Nasda was professional, attentive and very personable. The steak I ordered was cooked medium rare as I ordered.Now the bad. I ordered a 900 -1000 gram porterhouse steak. I dry age my own beef so I know exactly what a dry aged steak should taste like with that buttery flavor and slight tang. What I got was a 600 gram steak that was not dry aged and was so tough my jaws got tired from chewing and I had to spit out several pieces because they were just too tough. I've eaten in a steak house in Buenos Aires and they would be ashamed of this place being called anything Argentina related.Worse, I asked the ladies at the front desk twice to speak to the manager, but apparently she was too busy to speak with customers.The bottom line is that this was the worst steak by far I have had in all of my 50 plus years of eating restaurant steaks. I can't begin to tell you how disappointed I am in this place. Those that rated it highly either got a far better steak than I did, or frankly they have no clue what they're talking about.We are sorry and apologize for the situation and the spoiled evening.We would like to resolve this situation and correct your impression of us. This place either has GREAT reviews or (one) BAD; ours is great! OK, so the menu is long and mixed but everything we had was delicious! The new manager, who we think was also the sommelier, was really helpful and not afraid to let us have Ukrainian wine when there was great Western European on the list. Made me a cocktail that was not on the list by listening well and delivering what I asked for. There was live music too (maybe just for Saturday nights?) which added to a relaxed atmosphere. We would have no problems recommending this place for dinner.
