Great buzzy atmosphere and very good food. However if youâre going for dinner go for the second sitting at 9pm otherwise you feel very rushed which takes away from the enjoyment Ciao Eileenm962, quando hai prenotato il locale era pieno e ti abbiamo proposto di venire alle 19.00 ma di lasciare il tavolo libero per chi aveva prenotato prima di te. Hai accettato e ti sei trovata bene pertanto non capiamo le tue parole, inoltre ti ricordo che anzichè venire alle 19.00 siete arrivati alle 19.30, vi abbiamo lasciato mangiare con tranquillità fino alle 21.15 facendo aspettare gli altri ospiti che avevano prenotato prima di voi. Siete arrivati mezz'ora in ritardo, vi abbiamo chiamato, e vi abbiamo tenuto il tavolo nonostante questo, brutto poi contorcere la relatà dei fatti. Lorella

We went here based on a recommendation from another restaurant and we loved it. Our server was friendly and very helpful with our choices. Three of us had their beef stew with roast potatoes and mixed grill vegetables and it was delicious. My husband had beef with arugula and parmigiana cheese and it was cooked to perfection. The cheese cake Sonia was also very good. We ate on there patio and it was a great experience!

This was lovely setting but mistakes were made with orders. Had to ask what we had ordered. My steak was cold bits of gristle as well as uninteresting as it was meat, rocket and pecorino slices on top of the meat. We got the feeling that if you ordered a bottle of wine you were treated differently . The majority of people eating were guests of the hotel. When we checked the bill we had been over-charged for three glasses of wine and not the spritzer we had ordered. Overall it was a pleasant meal but nothing to write home about.

We were desperate for a cool drink and lunch when we came across this osteria - almost missed it. We had a warm and friendly welcome from the owner. The restaurant has a good feel to it, comfortable, unhurried and relaxed. The food was good, typical Tuscan food. Substantial and very well cooked. We were glad to see that the ingredients depended on availability from the local markets. We had a couple of glasses of local chianti accompanied by jugs of delicious sparkling water. We're going back.

The most amazing and authentic Italian food that you will find in Tuscany! Homemade fresh pasta and grain from Monteriggioni is one of the best parts. The staff is very friendly and the owners have a true passion for Italian food. The garden is the most beautiful lunch and dinner view. We will definitely be coming back for more!

The desk clerk at our hotel suggested this restaurant, and we were glad she did. The food was local and very good. The wait staff didn't know a lot of English and we know very little Italian but we all worked together and had a great time.

After reading the positive reviews, we were all expecting something better. To start with, the place was cold and two of us ate with the jacket on.A waiter gave us an apologetic look but did not increase the heating.My "Pici con cacio e pepe" were average, portion was small.

Superb antipasti selection of meats and cheeses. This was followed by home made pasta with wild boar. Wonderful! All was washed down with house red and sparkling and still water. The dessert was a superb Grandmotherâs Cake.A very enjoyable experience.
