After reading the reviews and catering for coeliacs we booked the restaurant up, interesting but Cosy decor inside with welcoming staff. The pumpkin soup taster was a great start and the food that followed was nothing short of superb. The prawn starter and beef carpaccio were refreshing and light.We both had the tuna for main which was cooked to perfection, dessert followed with homemade tiramisu and one of the most creative fruit sorbet I've ever seen.Great wine selection aswell. Highly recommended

We ate here a couple of times while we were in Riva and the weather was a bit dodgy, and each time had better food than we were expecting considering it looks like a standard hotel restaurant. We had the sea bass and lamb chops. The sea bass was good but the lamb was really excellent, five double chops cooked well so they were pink, tasty, succulent.We also tried the pizzas which were good. All this in a restaurant that has a good view over the lake, which isn't as common as you might expect in Riva.The service is good and the prices are reasonable.Dear Southgate family,we are so happy to read your review about our restaurant!
