It was the first place we visited in Rimini! Very good food, tasty, big plates. It is not very clear first that you need to order at the counter yourself and take drinks from the fridge, but the host helped us. He also recommended piadina and it was super tasty! They don't have coffee, but arranged it for me from the nearest cafe :)

Wonderfully relaxed atmosphere, with the Mediterranean lapping at the shoreline for a soothing feel.Moreover, food consistently excellent. Yellowfin tuna steak really succulent and flavoursome, rosé (cheapest one) excellent accompaniment, choc ginger dessert scrumptious, and limoncello a refreshing surprise on-the-house to wrap it up.Service very good too â friendly and formative but not craven. Siamo stati per cena in questa tradizionale Osteria a Santarcangelo di Romagna. Antipasto di mare buono ed abbondante, ottima frittura di pesce unitamente ad una squisita grigliata con contorni e piadina romagnola. Per terminare la cena, uno squisito mascarpone con fragole. Gentilissimo il proprietario è tutto il personale. Prezzi nella norma.

We visited this popular restaurant a few times during our stay in Santarcangelo. The pizza is fabulous. Service great and friendly. Good value for money. Also good for vegetarians - even pizzas with no meat are not necessarily veggie in this area but these guys make dough with no animal fat. Would definitely go back.

A favourite of mine especially at Christmas. Beautiful setting and good food guaranteed. But the family that owned Verdemare have sold it, and even if the new owners seem pleasant and accommodating, at thirty five euro's a head, Christmas day, the quality can;t be great. In fact, I have spoken to friends that live in the vicinity who have confirmed that the politics of the new restauranter is to work more with lorry drivers rather than private diners. Saying that I haven't sampled the new cuisine so I can not comment on the food. All I do know is that Verdemare will not be able to offer the same quality at lower prices. The restaurant is very close to the motorway exit so to work with lorry drivers makes sense. I'm not advising you to not frequent Verdemare, just be aware that it is not what it used to be.

The beautiful town of Santarcangelo di Romagna Sometimes gives unexpected surprises like this interesting restaurant. The service is excellent and kind, very professional also in the explanation of dishes and drinks. The menu offers beautiful surprises that are never dull, the ingredients are of excellent quality and the presentation is really well taken care of. The garden is definitely the place to recommend if you go in the summer, medium-high prices, but it deserves them.

Both the food and the atmosphere was very good and the staff is quite friendly.
