Had a business dinner and the experience was outstanding. Truffle season had begun and the flavor was infused in practically everything. Service and food was amazing, beef roasted with fresh vegetables; eggs and pasta; anti-pasto to die for. Well worth the drive from Cesena or Rimini if at all possible, do not miss this restaurant.

Restaurant a little far from Santarcangelo centre. But easily to reach. Traditional food Tagliatelle Castrato entries and so on .... Good price. Maybe a bit noisy. Service standard. max

We had a wonderful evening in Lazaroun. Our waiter was so kind, realised we struggled with the language so helped us to make our choices from the menu. My husbands steak was expertly cut, weighed and grilled to perfection. I had the tagliatelle with lamb ragout which was delicious.
An added bonus was being able to take a tour of the grotto which runs into the hillside. Very interesting!

I had dinner with my wife at La Sangiovesa on 25th July and thanks to the warm evening we could comfortably sit on the Terrace, located in a nice square, which already set the scene. A very kind and efficient waiter proposed us the menu, the specials of the day and the wines to combine. We went for the local specialties, Squacquerone cheese with caramelized figs and Strozzapreti as starters, both as tasty as you could dream of and accompanied by mouth watering warm piadina 's made real-time at the oven post inside the beautiful old palace. As a main course we wanted to try the "glory" of the house, the rabbit "in porchetta" but was not available: eventually we did not miss it since the replacements, either the guinea-fowl a and the trippa alla contadina were superb.I have seldom tasted a tripes so tasty, delicate and melting-in-the-mouth as at La Sangiovesa. While we were waiting for a coffee and digestive a sudden summer storm forced us to get shelter inside: and here we came to experience the kindness and friendliness of the personnel who tried to turn in every manner the (small) inconvenience into a pleasant thing. We were invited to visit the caves with historical relics and modern sculptures, got our drinks at the small tables of the fireplace while we were informed about the history of the place and the special relationship of La Sangiovesa with the famous poet and artist Tonino Guerra. The storm passed as in any summer evening and we did not even realize it, so well we could enjoy our time there. Only one recommendation: reserve in time and don't miss it!

Very young place with nice concept of piadina with meat like hamburger, very good service but a bit slow, do not know if is because they are preparing only after orders were placed or because service is slow, prices s bit high , food is good but not better than other places, but worth to stop to experiment this new dishes and concept

We stayed at the agriturismo to which this restaurant belongs. The first night we thought we'd try the restaurant, thinking that on other nights we might explore neighbouring villages. That never happened as we discovered what a special place this is, with an excellent menu and a great wine list. In particular try the set menus but make sure you have a solid appetite. Prices are actually very reasonable and gave a much better quality/price ratio than any of the other places we dined this two week Italian holiday trip. So we ended up staying here for dinner every one of the four nights in the agriturismo, sampling the menu and occasionally returning to our favourites. Service was also excellent with a wonderfully warm smile.

Very nice staff but Average food. The place is convenient located with car park. Staff is very kind and helpful. Unfortunately the food is just average. Pizza is being served from electric oven and definitely is not the one You would like to have in Italy.
The wine from their winery is really nice.

We ate a basket of different piadine, with everything: vegetables, cheese, prosciutto crudo, strawberries, and so on. And they were so good that we opted also for another basket of sweet piadine!! I don't drink wine or bear but others really liked them. The negative aspect is that it opens at 19:00 and you can't book, so it is likely you have to wait about one hour before sitting at the table. Anyway, when you start to eat you forget about any queue or waiting! We'll definitely go back again!
