So nice place for a relaxing walk by the river Rhine. It is nice and beautiful scenery with lots to see and the restaurants were there to answer your need for food. We saw some taking a cruise but we preferred to stroll. We did not go far but have to stop sometime. In between was a nice opportunity for a souvenir shopping.

Saw the musical once with my wife and once with my daughters (12 and 15 years of age). Both times it was very impressive, though the first cast was somewhat better, I have to admit. Nevertheless, we all, including my adolescent daughters, were very impressed, both times.

Ouders (inclusief vrienden/bekenden) zijn gratis maar wel verplicht en worden bij ons lekker verwend met heerlijke verse bonenkoffie, fijne stoelen of banken en gratis WiFi. This one of the best place for you and your children. You can relax durng your child is playing games in huge complex of monkey town. there many towers, slides, trampolines. Alse there a small bistro. we order a chessburger and limonade in manu and it was not bad.

Rain or shine, I'd always recommend this experience and not only because I'm obsessed with space travel. While some of the installations are a bit tired, they are still fun. Especially the model of ESA's module on the ISS is fun, and the asteroid never fails to blow my mind.

Het Leidse Hout in Leiden, op de grens met Oegstgeest, werd in 1919 bedacht als volkspark en in 1927 ontworpen door Klaas van Nes en de aanleg was vanaf 1928.Aan de andere kant van de gemeentegrens; in Oegstgeest ,sluit het openbare kasteelpark van Kasteel Oud Poelgeest uit 1640 aan bij het meer recente Leidse Hout zodat er nu een groot stadspark is tussen Leiden en Oegstgeest.
Professor Boerhave was vanaf 1725 de bekendste bewoner van het kasteel Oud Poelgeest;in 1940 werd het een openbaar gemeentepark en het kasteel is een congres-lokatie met klein hotel.Het kasteel komt voor in de debut-roman van de schrijver-kunstenaar Jan Wolkers.
Ik vond het leuk even bij het theehuis van het Leidse Hout iets te drinken.

We rented Olympia 34 boat for a week from Olympia Charters through a Czech company "Holandsko na lodi". The services of both of the companies were excellent. Holandsko na lodi - great web site with detailed information on specifics of various parts of Holland, detailed information on boats on offer, great manual with suggested itineraries for each part of Holland, lot of practical information, and last but not least good and balanced rental agreement which does not have to be painstakingly negotiated.
Olympia Charters - very relaxed and pleasant staff providing very professional services, boat in great condition, WC and shower at the dock available, safe parking at site possible. No problems with returning the deposit for the boat.

Wow how amazing is this place, i absolutely loved it. I got there early and climbed up the steep stairs ( love a challenge ) and was lucky enough to catch the guy setting up the sails. I have to warn those with vertigo that when you get to the platform you can see through some of the slats so that gave me jelly legs but it was well worth it for the experience. People working there were really nice and it was great to look inside and climb up a windmill. You can use your museumkaart here.

Het gemeentehuis van Oegstgeest is gevestigd in een bijzonder "Art Nouveau"gebouw uit 1901 van architect G.J.Driessen genaamd "RHIJNGEEST".Het gebouw staat vlakbij het openbare wandelpark van het fraaie Kasteel Endegeest.
Het gemeentehuis van Oegstgeest "RHIJNGEEST" was vroeger een voormalig sanatorium voor zenuwziekten en kreeg later de naam"Jelgersmakliniek".
Ik vond het leuk in combinatie met een wandeling op het park van Kasteel Endegeest ernaast.
