We arrived on 15th June 2018 945pm after a 3hr car rite from PP airport, was tired and hungry. Luckily the restaurant was opened and food was ready almost immediately. Staff was patient and attentive, food quality was up to our expectation. The best part was the cocktail: better than many bars I have visited around the region. Breakfast was interesting: a selection of Asian/American/French, however we feel that the portion size for American and French selection can be a little more generous. Delightfully coffee was excellent. A quaint 10 tables French-Colonial tiles flooring with stone washed walls and caned chairs, complete with sea breeze through the open folding doors. Perfect setting for an over-worked stressed rat urbanite like us. Definitely will recommend my peersDear Richard,Thank you so much for rating us 5 stars here on TripAdvisor. This reviews lunch and dinner as we stayed in this hotel and the breakfast was reviewed in the hotel section. Very expensive for what it is, the quality is OK, service was very good. Ginger chicken very little chicken almost unnoticeable, zucchini cakes were nice, but nothing to rave about, the tofu dish was good.

The Strand is probably the most expensive and serves the most refined food in Kep, at least for seafood dishes.I tried the Garden Vegetables, Squid Bolognaise, Crab Cakes and Shrimp Bisque.Every dish was well thought out to the very details, and was indeed one of the finest food that you can ever encounter in Cambodia (this comes from a man who has been to almost every fine dining restaurant you can ever find in Phnom Penh in the last 5 years (still working on other areas)).The texture of the Bisque was a bit rough on the palate (from the shells) and could improve a bit, but this was a minor point.The price is a bit on the high end compared to other places in Kep, but compared to the quality of the food, the value for money is really high.Will definitely visit again, next time by booking Knai Bang Chatt.

Had an enjoyable lunch at the Crab Kitchen and had fresh mud crabs with green peppercorns, absolutely delicious. Also had bbq prawns, all so fresh and reasonably priced. Had a view over the water. This restaurant is right next to the crab market.

We went there for sunset and early dinner. Food was amazing. Totally amazing. Tasty, full of flavors. I loved that. We had big portion of crab amok - 10$ ( it came with two portion of rice) totally delicious. Portion was so big that two of us was absolutely full. Recommended!!!

We went here many times during our 4 night stay. It is super close to the sea and a great view for sunset etc. The food was excellent and so much choice, Asian and western! Having been sick for 4 days after eating in PP we were cautious but the food was great and we didn't have any follow up issues...

Delicious food, staff is very clean cut and well spoken, very attentive and friendly, the island views and sunsets are incredible. My family has eaten there several times since we are locals and canât imagine a better restaurant experience in kep, thanks again for everything mr. ay you sir are a true gentleman.

This is a little establishments with seats at the seaside. Nice ambience. The food is simply delicious and reasonably priced. We had several crab entrees: crab kroeung, green pepper crab, crab clay pot, all of which have unique flavors and it is hard to choose which is the best. What a great dinner!
