This little shop located between Himeji castle and Train station. Its on the main street though instead on the side street which is usually where the good restaurant at. Best Udon I ever had, the bowel is so good just eat it plain with a bit of their light sauce. Good way to start or end your day trip to Himeji castle.

このあたりには牡蠣の直売店とカキ料理店を兼ねた店が多いが、ここは1階が津田宇水産の直売所で、2階がレストラン海宝となる。他の店は牡蠣食べ放題バーベキューの方式が多いが、ここは焼き牡蠣、カキフライ、牡蠣飯、刺身など各種牡蠣、魚料理をセルフサービスで取って会計する方式でお手軽でよい。揚げ物は注文してから調理するのでテーブルでできあがりを待てばよい。休日昼時は混雑して店外まで行列ができるほど。セルフサービスなのでまずテーブルを確保することが大事。

約1年前に訪問した際には店主のうめちゃんが入院中で店が開いていませんでした。今回はきちんとうめちゃん本人が出迎えてくれました。す焼きをいただきましたが、ほぼ具のないお好み焼きでした。ソースは酸味が強く、この店の味が気に入ったらなかなか他では満足できないかもしれません。

古民家風の建物は有形文化財らしく、趣があり、店内の雰囲気もとてもいいです。お蕎麦の定食でしたが、最初に出された料理もそれぞれ美味しかったです。

平日の午前１１時前に6人で訪問既にお店前の駐車場は満杯何とか止めてお店に テーブルは8割程埋まっててメニューもカキフライ 牡蠣ご飯 テーブルで焼き 蒸しなど豊富で少し小ぶりの牡蠣でしたが、兎に角美味い！食べ放題でも他ではカキフライと牡蠣ごはんは別料金の所が多いのですが、此処では食べ放題に含まれます。人気も凄い！1か月前でも予約が難しいお店ですが是非お尋ね下さい。堀市さんが閉店されて、道の駅みつが一人勝ちですが、牡蠣の時期は牡蠣処枡政さんが一押しですね！

毎年冬に買いに行きます。レストランもありその場で食べることもできます。接客はあまりよくないですが、牡蠣は大粒で美味しいです。ここの牡蠣を買うと、普通のスーパーで売ってる牡蠣は買えなくなります。

After visited Himeji Castle, I had been with my friends to this restaurant.The food was great, and also it was quite cheap. The place is an old style Japanese restaurant, lacated in a small fisherman village.We really enjoyed our lunch!

We walked less than 5 minutes from the Daiwa Roynet Hotel, to enjoy our evening at Koba&More.Turning left from the front door of the hotel, and then immediately turning left, you will find Koba&More also on the left. The front entrance is very distinct, you won’t miss it.Sliding the door open, you will find 6 chairs up, at a long wood bar. The food is prepared right across from you in the kitchen while you sit and enjoy your beverage. We had a beer and sake. Food was great, we enjoyed Japanese salad, wontons, and Gyoza. . Very fun, friendly, and owner very personable. Restaurant was open from 6pm until 9pm on a Sunday when we went. It was a special experience and it really made our time in Himeji memorable.

Tatsuno is a hidden gem town yet to be discovered by foreign tourists. It is near Himeji and is regarded as a mini Kyoto of Harima, the old name of this region in today’s Hyogo prefecture next to Osaka and Kyoto. Kasumitei offers somen noodle dishes which are a speciality of Tatsuno. It’s a small and casual but neat restaurant that keeps you feel at home. The noodles are very nice both hot and cold. Moderately priced and very good value. Perfect for lunch.
