The town is located about 20 kilometres (12 mi) northwest of Amsterdam in the Randstad metropolitan area, north of the North Sea Canal very close to the North Sea coast. A railway tunnel and two motorway tunnels cross the canal between Beverwijk and the nearby city of Haarlem on the south bank.

We've experienced this formula before: one price fits all, and you can go back as many times as you like within a time-window (beer. wine and soft drinks included). This one that has just opened in our own hometown is an exceptional example. They've done a fair bit of advertising in the local press, but obviously word-of-mouth has also started doing the rounds and they were fairly busy when we arrived as walk-ins. The food stations including pizza, seafood, sushi, teppan-yaki, european, and a bit of everything in-between handled the busy period well. The selection is good, and they use excellent raw ingredients so if you don't find something you like, you've only yourself to blame. The staff are friendly and helpful as well.

A very casual and informal sushi place. Donât expect any great interior design here. It is all about the sushi and sashimi. Just mind blowing. The toro was spectacular. Actually everything was. If you are in the neighborhood please please go to Hokkai. Enjoy the fish and the price which is very fair!!!
