This has been our favorite restaurant in Harburg since we moved here 6 years ago until today. We always emjoy the sevice and food but today...We ordered the VARIATION âSILO 16â as appetizer. It tastes good like always. This we wouldnt complain. My son loved the kids menu magarita pizza and was very excited about it. NORMALLY it came like a smily face with ears(somehow like a mickimouse) Today it was just a normal pizza but smaller size. The server did appoligize for the pizza guy who forogt its supposed to be a kids menu. BUT they didnt even try to fix it. So I asked if they could at least give us some olive and tomato for us to make the face on the pizza. As parent , I dont really like to see my childchen to be disappointed. My main was "LINGUINE ALLO SCOGLIO" which is clams pasta with white wine. I was expecting this "taste of the sea" from this plate. (If you ever eaten or cooked it before you know what I mean) it was a whole plate of clams and mussels BUT somehow it tasted very very very blend. First I thought maybe some salt might help to enhance the flavor but it didnt. so I ask my hubby and my mom to try small bite and tell me how they think. They were also agreed that it is missing the taste of this dish. I explained to the server and asked if the seasfood were all frozen, might because of that so it lost its taste... I grew up in Taiwan, which is a island. We ate a lot of seafood. If this dish was using so much mussel and clams, it shouldnt taste like this. I am sorry but I didnt want to even eat this dish to stuff up my belly. So I give it back. I was really disappointed because so far I always enjoyed my food here at Silo 16. So here comes the bill, the dish I didnt really touch was still on it. First the server was taking back said he forgot to ask the Hostess about how to deal with the dish whice I sent back. At the end it is still on the bill, they offer us schnapst(I am 4 months pregnant) or Coffee(it was almost sleeping time...)We want neither of them. My husband was asking the hostess about it. But she was very much (I would say) arrogant, said this is the first time we have heard of it. ok....but this is how you solve the problem. maybe my point was not strong enough?! I dont know.. but her attitude made us decided that we would never visit Silo 16 again..it was once our favorite restaurant.

We had dinner at Momento Di and had a wonderful evening out. Their set menu was extremely good value for money with 5 courses at 59 Euro for 2. The outside terrace overlooking the harbour scenery during sunset was lovely and the service was very relaxed, personal but still very attentive. The small gestures are what makes this place special, like serving our kids a tiny cup of soup as well, so they had a multi course dinner feel too. If you are staying in Hamburg south of the river, Momento Di is not to be missed.

Excellent and should be an example to all Italian restaurants. Perfect antipasti, pizza and dessert. The service is a little bit chaotic but very nice and friendly people...the prices allow to be a guest 7 days a week:)

We came to this restaurant in the late evening on a Monday when many restaurants are closed. We were greeted by the server, who was actually the owner, with a friendly smile. Having ran out of Chardonnay, he helped me with a new selection. The drinks came promptly and so did the pizza. The pizza was fantastic! We ordered what the owner suggested - one with what I believed had prosciuitto along with arugula, and the other with shrimp. It all disappeared fast. I highly recommended this restaurant - you won't be disappointed.

Erstens, das Restaurant heisst nur noch "Fontana"! Als es noch "La Fontana" hiess, vor einigen Jahren, da war es ein spitzenmäÃiger Italiener. Nun leider nur noch Abklasch, schade. Was in guter Qualität geblieben ist, sind die Pizzabrötchen und Kräuterbutter zu Anfang, aber dann lässt die Qualität sofort auf. Trotzdem scheint es Stammgäste zu geben, weil der Besitzer sich ausschlieÃlich um diese kümmert. Der Service ist also auch sehr 'gruppengebunden'. So etwas darf nicht sein. Meine Spaghetti Carbonara schwammen in einer fertig Sauce, die verschiedenen Nudeln meines Mannes waren lau warm und schmeckten nach nichts. Er musste extrem nachwürzen. Das Ambiente ist okay, aber der Lautstärkepegel sehr hoch, zumal die Tische sehr dich nebeneinander stehen. Das Gespräch des Nachbartisches zu folgen, kein Problem. Aber nicht, was ich mir unter einem entspannten Abend vorstelle! Da mache ich mir meine Nudeln lieber Zuhause!

I was lodged in the hotel alongside of this restaurant and just by occasion went in for diner. The restaurant was quite full, but they found me a place on the first floor. Service was very friendly and quick. The menu did look good and had a great variety of choice. I took a vitello tonato as a starter and a pasta with lamb as a main. Both where very good, not only for taste but also for portionsize.

The menu is presented on a chalk board with a nice balance between meat and fish / seafood dishes. The menu is almost a little bit too big and could be reduced. The wine list is relatively simple without major surprises but you find some good wines in their selection. The service is nice and friendly, especially the Italian head of service takes his time to chat with guests and to give recommendations. The food was of good quality and taste and it was plenty... All together a very nice experience and I would definitely recommend a visit!

This is not your standard Italian, great seating indoor and outdoor, lively atmosphere with music and cool waiters. Food is good, but a little pricey. Nevertheless not a bad option when in Buchholz.

Op doorreis een overnachting geboekt in het hotel WOX en meteen het restaurant ROX geprobeerd. Een overzichtelijke kaart met 4 voorgerechten, 10 hoofdgerechten en 3 desserts. Daarnaast nog een "burgermenu" met ongeveer 8 verschillende Internationale varianten van hamburgers.De keuze viel op 3 verschillende burgers (de Franse, Spaanse en Mexicaanse), de pasta en een curryworst. De pasta was lekker maar niet heel bijzonder, de hamburgers en de curryworst waren wel heel lekker. We hebben de maaltijd afgerond met het appelgebak en de tiramisu van de blauwe bessen.... De tiramisu is een absolute aanrader!!!! De bediening was gezellig en meedenkend. Afsluitend, dit is geen sterrenrestaurant. De prijzen zijn schappelijk. De ruimte is functioneel en dient ook als ontbijtruimte. Deze review is in dat licht geschreven. Het is gemoedelijk, gezellig en uiteindelijk zeker waar voor je geld. We zouden er zo weer eten en de andere hamburgers proberen :-)Funfact: Blijkbaar komen veel gasten eten en een wandeling in de buurt maken omdat een van de oprichters van Modern Talking in de buurt woont......
