We celebrated my nephewâs 21st birthday at Tramonto in Nuevo Vallarta. My sister and I shared the Caesar salad and the Pasta Putanesca which were excellent! My husband and brother-in-law both had the Beef Carpaccio which was also very good. My nephews both had alfredo pastas which they both enjoyed. Excellent service too as our waiter presented my nephew a complimentary plate of chocolate macarons for his 21st birthday. Our desserts were also very good! Just came home from a very nice dinner here. We had a group of 8 people, 3 generations, and everyone was happy. We chose mostly pasta dishes and had maybe one drink each and the bill including tip was under $20 per person. The food was really tasty and we left full. Also had appetizers and lingered for 2 hours. Pretty location. if youâre staying at Paradise Village, for sure go at least once. If youâre nearby, still worth a visit.

My girlfriend and i had the pleasure of eating at Portofino at Dreams not once but twice. Both times the food was fabulous! We decided to go there on our last night at the resort. From the time we walked up to go in, Katrina was there immediately to seat us. Such a sweet and amazing young woman. Our head waiter, Jose, came by to make sure we would have everything we needed. Our waiters, Hector Paul Daniel and Martin were there to tend to our every need. The food was amazing!!!!!! So authentic and delicious. At the end of our meal they told us we couldn't leave as they had a surprise for us. They came out with a small dessert with "have a great trip written in chocolate. We were overwhelmed with joy. I have never had such a great experience as I have had there. They really care about their guests and the service was off the charts. Thank you to all of you for an experience both myself and my friend will never forget. This is a very special place. The owners are welcoming and incredibly knowledgeable about all Italian dishes !! The food is meticulously prepared and we enjoyed every item we chose from the menu. The place is small but the hospitality is huge so reservations may be a good idea - especially as word of their reasonable prices for gourmet pastas spreads in our area. The service, food and ambiance here are very Continental. Soft Jazz, a deck overlooking the canal, floor to ceiling windows and unpretentious yet classy service. Classy, yes ,that is the word for Porto Bello. The food is very good, the prices are on the high end but it is what you would expect for this experience. Outstanding wine list. We ate here twice whilst staying at the hotel. It was really nice both times and the food was excelled. The staff were great with the kids and got them what they wanted, sometimes going of menu to help out.
