I have been to Bella Napoli a couple of times and have never been dissapointed. I would advise on making a reservation. They sometimes have a special on their menu - Mussels in white wine sauce, it is very delicious :-). They mainly serve pasta's but have some meat dishes on the menu. What can I say about the pasta? Its good! and they have some interesting dishes on the menu. We shared Bruschetta topped with sweet sun ripened tomato's for a starter. I had the mussels served with a salad. The salad was a bit dissapointing as it was just lettuce leaves topped with a dressing. My husband had Gnocchi with a three cheeses sauce, the bite I had was dreamy. We had too much to eat to even consider dessert :-). the drinks and wine list is not extensive but good enough. Do try some of the antipasti that are displayed at the entrance. The service is very friendly. I would not recommend it for a romantic evening as the tables are very close to each other.

As a solo female traveler, I felt very welcomed here. Small restaurant with decent lighting (not overly bright and garish), extensive menu, very good prices, and quality food. Waitstaff very efficient. 1/2 liter of decent Italian wine for 7 euros. Would definitely go back.

Boccaccio is one of the two top Italian restaurants in Ulm, the other being Da franco. The quality of the food in Boccaccio is generally very good and service tends to be friendly. On our last visit however the owners grandchild was given its evening meal. As children are she was talking loudly, starting to scream when she did not want to eat and the entire family was around doting on her. That's fine if it was a simple restaurant or perhaps at lunchtime but being effectively seated in the living room of the owners family to witness family life is not what I expect from a restaurant that aspires to be a bit special. Despite the quality of the food what was meant to be a quiet evening meal was somewhat spoilt.

Perfect if you want to park your car almost next to your table. Otherwise the area is a bit drab - in between several lower priced stores a few km away from the city center.The restaurant is new, they did a good job converting a building which looks more like a waiting room in a railway station into a fairly nice setup.The food was ok, typical German Italian. Noodles were good and not too soft, fish was overcooked. Service is friendly - too friendly to be natural. One of their waiters was an excellent salesperson - you could really see how he made people order more expensive things that they most likely intended to.

A really nice and modern restaurant. The staff is friendly and helpfulSomeone do not need to wait a lot befor eating, because the dishes are served quickly, also when there are many people.They use very freshed food with an excellent relation between quality and price, also because they serve hearty meals.

After 5 hours on congested German Autobahns I was in serious need of good food, relaxation time and non-efficiency.Stumbling upon the Michelangelo, I didn't find the latter, but - OMG the food! Travelling often to Italy and loving Italian food, I am always a bit wary of eating Italian outside of the country. It was late (for Germany) and only three tables were occupied.The specials menu had "Tagliatelle mit Trüffel- und Käsesauce". "Tartufo bianco?" I enquired. It was "ony" black truffel, but I took the risk anyway.It was spectacular! Tagliatelle obviously hand-made the same day and cooked al dente. Perfettamente al dente. Cheese right from the inner of the wheel. Excellent truffel, all prepared and served with great care. Even the expresso was excellent. I was on the street again after an hour and the autobahn was now much less menacing.Highly recommended

Excellent food quality, outstanding wine chart, service always up to the situation.Quantities, despite some negative previous reviews I'd read on TA, are according to me and my After our first dinner we replicated the very next day.Average price for 2 courses (Antipasto + First or Second main course) including beverages: around 50 Euro. Which is in my opinion quite fair.

Stopped in Ulm overnight on drive to Austria from London.Owner / chef very helpful despite our limited Italian and German language skills we managed to order food which turned out to be very good.I will return here when I next pass through Ulm.

I am really glad we found this place. The Pizza was amazing, but the fish with Polenta was outstanding. Not to talk About the delicious mousse au chocolat and cappuccino we had for dessert. The interior is very agreable, the staff friendly and helpful.

We popped in here for lunch on our day trip to Ulm. Lovely Italian restaurant right on the river in the Fisherman's Quarter. We were seated in the lower part overlooking the river which was lovely. I ordered a delicious tortellini pasta with ham and cheeses. The flavours were amazing and it was hot and creamy; just how I like it! All the food we ordered was lovely and we all left feeling full. Prices were excellent for the quality and the service was top notch. 5*!!Thank you so much for your stunning review!
