Previous people have told on TripAdvisor that it was strange to eat in a supermarket. This is just the strong point of this place. How many times did one not wish you could buy the same ingredients as in the restaurant. Here you can!!Good Italian food that was also appreciated by our Italian friends. Served with a smile.

We came after having read about the place on tripadvisor. The place is located just out of the altstadt with a small cozy garden. unfortunately the food was pretty average. The bruschetta were nothing but dry bread with sliced and cut tomatoes. My wifes salad was boring. My side salad was just a mix of everyday supermarket vegetables in a random mix. The pizzas were ok but nothing more, so all in all 2½ stars. There are many better places in town.

Triggered by a Friburger friend we booked a table in this charming and lovely restaurant located in an strategic place.Although its style, food and wines carte tend to be among the best Tuscan or Riojan restaurants, unfriendly waiters arrogance makes such target unfeasible.

We visited the establishment because of recommendations on Tripadvisor. I did not find it a wow factor, but the food was good. The house salad was a bit disappointing. Loads of leaves, with a fewsalad goodies on top. My lasagne was different to what I am used to, but very tasty. Plus point is that I asked for a hot sauce on the side, which is not very common in Germany. It was similar to a peri peri oil, but delicious.

Just had pizzas for lunch, so it is difficult to assess the real value of this restaurant, however these were perfectly decent, average size, with quite a good dough and tasty toppings. Nothing stellar but would easily deserve to be ranked in the "quite good" pizzerias. Service efficient. Price very reasonable.

Schon viermal waren wir hier zum Abendessen und jedesmal ist etwas in Erinnerung geblieben. Das erste Mal mit Freunden -- einer von ihnen bestellte eine italienische Vorspeisenplatte, auf der fast ausschlieÃlich Rohschinken und Käse hiesiger Provenienz war. Nun gut, war vielleicht ein MiÃverständnis. Beim zweiten Mal habe ich eine 0,75-Liter-Flasche San Pellegrino für 4.80 Euro bestellt und eine kleine 0,5-Liter-Flasche erhalten. Abgerechnet wurde der volle Preis (dafür gibt es Zeugen). Beim dritten Mal bestellte ich Lasagne, laut Speisekarte mit "Hackfleisch, überbacken mit Mozzarella und Bechamelsauce". Von letzterer war nichts zu spüren, anstelle des Hackfleischs bestand die Füllung aus Kochschinken. Das vierte und nunmehr letzte Mal war jetzt aktuell ein Besuch mit der ganzen Familie und dies war der Clou: Ich bestellte eine Minestrone, die war von dunkelbrauner Färbung, roch ziemlich scheuÃlich und schmeckte sehr dominant nach leicht ranziger BratensoÃe. Mehrere Familienmitglieder probierten und rieten mir, die Suppe nicht zu essen. Ich tat es dennoch und mir wurde einige Zeit später leicht übel. Alles übrige -- Calzone, diverse Pizzen, Spaghetti bolognese, Calamari, Risotto -- war in Ordnung, wenngleich geschmacklich nicht unbedingt überragend. Kleiner Tipp: Es gibt in Kirchzarten noch mindestens zwei weitere Pizzerien.
