Previous people have told on TripAdvisor that it was strange to eat in a supermarket. This is just the strong point of this place. How many times did one not wish you could buy the same ingredients as in the restaurant. Here you can!!Good Italian food that was also appreciated by our Italian friends. Served with a smile.

Finding vegan food in Freiburg is not easy. This place serves fresh food which is vegetarian or vegan. I found the service good, the food clean and tasty. My only caution is that they provide a lot of hummus in some dishes which if you are unused to it requires you drink a to of water or risk a stomach ache. Definitely worth going back to.

We came after having read about the place on tripadvisor. The place is located just out of the altstadt with a small cozy garden. unfortunately the food was pretty average. The bruschetta were nothing but dry bread with sliced and cut tomatoes. My wifes salad was boring. My side salad was just a mix of everyday supermarket vegetables in a random mix. The pizzas were ok but nothing more, so all in all 2½ stars. There are many better places in town.

We decided for a pure tapas meal for 3 people and thought the food was amazing. Especially the ceviche, which was really fresh and maybe the best I have had. My two friends had never tried ceviche before, and loved it. All the food was authentic Spanish and could not fault the food. The service not so good though. Our waitress had attitude, and had to ask twice for a couple of dishes.Hi Caroline,The last weekend was twoo waiter sick, I'm sorry,But thankyou very much!

Triggered by a Friburger friend we booked a table in this charming and lovely restaurant located in an strategic place.Although its style, food and wines carte tend to be among the best Tuscan or Riojan restaurants, unfriendly waiters arrogance makes such target unfeasible.

We stumbled upon this place by accident and were very delighted.....it is a definite hidden gem!The staff was friendly and helpful as we were not very familiar with this type of cuisine (Turkish I think)....but it looked and smelled so good that we decided to give it a try.We ordered 2 chicken donairs to go (there are also a few tables/wall-mounted tables inside if you prefer to eat in) which we thoroughly enjoyed when we got back to our B&B.We highly recommend this place!

Just had pizzas for lunch, so it is difficult to assess the real value of this restaurant, however these were perfectly decent, average size, with quite a good dough and tasty toppings. Nothing stellar but would easily deserve to be ranked in the "quite good" pizzerias. Service efficient. Price very reasonable.

What a great find. Out if town but easily accessible with a short walk from the josephkirch stop on the number 3 an 5 tram lines. Wonderful selection of tapas, better than we've had in many Restaurants in Spain! Service was friendly and the waitress spoke some English too. Loved it.

The food and wine recommendations were a hit and we thoroughly enjoyed every course of the menu and every sip of the wine that you recommended - what an outstanding experience. Wonderful place in Kirchtarten which was surprisingly good. The standard is high with both coziness, service and quality of food. We had pumpkin soup and some different flammkuchen. We weren't hungry to start with but finished all of it easily because it was so tasty. Service was efficient and fast and their homemade lemonade is also really nice and worth going here for alone. All in all we will definitely come back next time we're in the neighborhood.
