The municipality comprises the city of Izegem proper and the towns of Emelgem and Kachtem. Emelgem was added to Izegem in 1965, Kachtem in 1977. Izegem itself lies on the southern banks of the Mandel, Emelgem and Kachtem on the north. Along the shores of the canal a large industrial zone has developed, which made the three municipalities one urban area. On January 1, 2006, Izegem had a total population of 26,544. The total area is 25.48 km (9.84 sq mi) which gives a population density of 1,042 inhabitants per km².

As we were ap arty of 25 we had the whole restaurant for our dinner. Service was great an the pizza made by a real italian pizzaiolo. Dessert selfmade and awesome. Next time we will be in Roeselare we will surely visite the pizzeria again

We went for more than a year almost every Friday to this restaurant!!!Rosa and Giuseppe are the best hosts that you can imagine.They really make you feel at home and the pasta they serve is real Italian pasta. You should try the "pasta Vongolé", the "Ravioli Astice" (whit lobster) or the "pasta Rognone".These are really my favorites.

It has been two years already since my last review of this place. We keep going, mainly on Sunday evenings. A tradition in the family. The list of pizzas is impressive and the tastes are surprising. Two suggestions: some regular staff members are excellent and super-friendly, other - less regular - members should receive some more training in customer satisfaction. Secondly, we would like to see a 'Special of the day' of 'Special of the week'. As a surprise for frequent visitors. Special in food and in price.

We went here with 2 couples. It is an italian restaurant which amkes their own pizza. They also do take-away.Prices for pizza were quite high, varying from 10-12 euro which is quite expensive in my eyes. I took a pizza with spicy saucage, it was well topped, but slightly underdone.The housewine was ok, but too expensive, 20 euro for a bottle !!!The waitress was nice, but some more italian touch would be welcome in a italian restaurant. Also, when you put tagliatelle on the menu, please write it with an e at the end and not with an i.An Italian restaurant who can't spell italian words is, well... you can fill this in yourselves I think.

This restaurant has a huge identity prolem: is it a ristorante (with evening-filling slow service), a sit-down pizzeria (with fast service) or a take-away?The interior decoration is nice, and gives you the impression of a small cozy ristorante. If you don't look at the line waiting for their take-away orders. 15 minutes for taking our order: this is very slow, even for a ristorante. 35 minutes for bringing our pasta. That wouldn't be that much of a problem:- IF there was some bread (or grisini) on the table. They bring the bread together with the meal you ordered. Funny. I must say the olives and pickles on the table were nice to see and to eat.- IF the food was tasty. My spaghetti frutti di mare only tasted salt and pepper. No tomato, no herbs, no seafood. Compare that with Valentino's spaghetti frutti di mare in Waregem! The house wine is decent and the dishes all by all are not very expensive.Work on the food, work on tastes, work on your profile, people!
