Das Restaurant schreibt sich "leidenschaftliche Genusskultur für alle Sinne" mit frischen, regionalen Produkten auf die Flagge - und das in meinen Augen zu Recht! Aber von Anfang an:Die gastronomische Auswahl am Flughafen Paderborn ist eher überschaubar. Was also tun, um dem Appetit auf etwas "vernünftiges" jenseits von SüÃigkeiten, belegten Brötchen etc. zu stillen? Die Antwort ist das Silbergras! Der Aufsteller im Flughafen mit Hinweis auf das Hotel (und ganz klein unten das Restaurant) erweckt den Eindruck nach sterilem Flughafenhotel mit Imbiss. Macht wenig Lust auf einen Versuch. Aber der kurze Weg lohnt sich!Ich wurde überrascht von stilvollem, schlichten und doch gemütlichen Ambiente, ausgesprochen netten Mitarbeitern und einer angenehm überschaubaren Karte mit regionalen Speisen mit Pfiff. Der Gruà aus der Küche lässt hoffen: Polentaschnitte mit Tomate (also Tomatengeschmack an der Polentaschnitte)-> sehr gut.Bestellt habe ich mir gebackenen Couscous auf Ratatouille mit Pesto, Mangochutney und Wildkräutersalat. Die gebackenen Couscousbällchen waren auÃen schön knusprig und innen saftig, das Gemüse mit schön viel BiÃ, Pesto und Mangochutney dazu passte auch toll. Und der Salat war mit einem sehr feinen Dressing angemacht.Das ganze für faire 10,50⬠(nicht vergessen: Wir sind hier nicht in einem Schnellimbiss...).Schade, dass die Zeit nicht für mehr gereicht hat. Ich bin sehr zufrieden gegangen und komme sicher beim nächsten Mal (dann hoffentlich mit mehr Zeit) wieder!Vielen Dank an das gesamte Team und weiterhin viel Erfolg!

I stayed here with colleagues for one night whilst on business.First of all the exterior is very impressive and check - in was quick and easy.My room was on the ground floor and had a nice view of the fields behind the property. The room itself was fairly basic with simple furniture (typical of a lot of German mid range hotels) however was more than adequate.We ate at the restaurant which was excellent with extremely high quality German dishes on offer.I had a decent nights sleep and the room was quiet at night.Breakfast was the typical continental selection, cold meats, yoghurt, bread, cheese etc. It was ok.Overall for the price I cannot complain at this hotel. I would definitely stay again if in the area.

I took my family for a lovely evening with a gorgeous meal in a beautiful garden with fishpond. The service was perfect and the food to die for. What else could you ask for. A lot of people appreciate this family owned restaurant ... so you better book in advance! And enjoy:-))
