The Gasthof Kemper is an absolute gem. A typical German bar that is superbly decorated and which provides a warm welcome from a family run business. This place clearly thrives on the excellent hospitality that it provides to all its locals and to newcomers alike. Being English, my family were made to feel very welcome despite my best efforts to speak in German, not only from the staff but also from the locals too. Not only does this place serve a variety of great beers and spirits but it also has a really tasty menu which is worth sampling. The restaurant is a credit to the Gasthof as the food served is of the highest quality. My family were impressed with the standard and quality of the food, so much so that all our plates were empty afterwards and we returned on two other occasions during our holiday for dinner. I have been to many German bars and restaurants over the years and this is now on the top of my list. I thoroughly recommend this place to everyone. The Restaurant and bar is very friendly, The inside is nice decorated but in the summer the beer garden with ist Koi pool and Little waterfall adds a certain charm to the beautiful roses. The Food is Germany ie schnitzel or Fish but the Steaks are excellent and some filled with Ham and cheese like a Cordon bleu or sheeps cheese and also Balkan dishes are on the menu Plus a large Ice Cream Menu for sweet.

...und entspannen. Auf Bio getrimmter âhier kann ich mal Stöbernâ Laden. Sehr nett gemacht mit frischem Kuchen lecker essen und netten Kleinigkeiten.

I stayed here with colleagues for one night whilst on business.First of all the exterior is very impressive and check - in was quick and easy.My room was on the ground floor and had a nice view of the fields behind the property. The room itself was fairly basic with simple furniture (typical of a lot of German mid range hotels) however was more than adequate.We ate at the restaurant which was excellent with extremely high quality German dishes on offer.I had a decent nights sleep and the room was quiet at night.Breakfast was the typical continental selection, cold meats, yoghurt, bread, cheese etc. It was ok.Overall for the price I cannot complain at this hotel. I would definitely stay again if in the area.

Noch schnell auf einen Snack irgendwo hin. Mit dieser Prämisse sind wir in das Panolo. Die Speisekarte ist einfach und übersichtlich, wer keinen Sternekoch benötigt kann hier fündig werden. Mit dem Blick auf das Flugfeld des PBner Flughafen, kann man, bei gutem Wetter die Terrasse nutzen. Ein klarer Tip, sollte man sich in der Nähe befinden !

Das Restaurant schreibt sich "leidenschaftliche Genusskultur für alle Sinne" mit frischen, regionalen Produkten auf die Flagge - und das in meinen Augen zu Recht! Aber von Anfang an:Die gastronomische Auswahl am Flughafen Paderborn ist eher überschaubar. Was also tun, um dem Appetit auf etwas "vernünftiges" jenseits von SüÃigkeiten, belegten Brötchen etc. zu stillen? Die Antwort ist das Silbergras! Der Aufsteller im Flughafen mit Hinweis auf das Hotel (und ganz klein unten das Restaurant) erweckt den Eindruck nach sterilem Flughafenhotel mit Imbiss. Macht wenig Lust auf einen Versuch. Aber der kurze Weg lohnt sich!Ich wurde überrascht von stilvollem, schlichten und doch gemütlichen Ambiente, ausgesprochen netten Mitarbeitern und einer angenehm überschaubaren Karte mit regionalen Speisen mit Pfiff. Der Gruà aus der Küche lässt hoffen: Polentaschnitte mit Tomate (also Tomatengeschmack an der Polentaschnitte)-> sehr gut.Bestellt habe ich mir gebackenen Couscous auf Ratatouille mit Pesto, Mangochutney und Wildkräutersalat. Die gebackenen Couscousbällchen waren auÃen schön knusprig und innen saftig, das Gemüse mit schön viel BiÃ, Pesto und Mangochutney dazu passte auch toll. Und der Salat war mit einem sehr feinen Dressing angemacht.Das ganze für faire 10,50⬠(nicht vergessen: Wir sind hier nicht in einem Schnellimbiss...).Schade, dass die Zeit nicht für mehr gereicht hat. Ich bin sehr zufrieden gegangen und komme sicher beim nächsten Mal (dann hoffentlich mit mehr Zeit) wieder!Vielen Dank an das gesamte Team und weiterhin viel Erfolg!

Super Essen bei freundlicher Bedienung. Als spontanes Familienessen geplant wurde unsere Reservierung gern entgegengenommen. Ohne Reservierung ist kein Platz für eine Gruppe zu finden. Die Qualität der Speisen ist hoch und es schmeckt lecker.Selbst dem Schwiegervater hat es gemundet. Lediglich auf eine gewisse Wartezeit hat man sich in der Zubereitung einzustellen. Dafür wurde dann aber auch alles gleichzeitig serviert.

Dined here after visiting Wewelsburg Castle. Really convenient as it is right next to the castle. I had a Jaegerschnitzel and a few glasses of Pils. Wife had a grilled chicken salad (gluten free). The schnitzel was average and the salad was good. But dining in such a historic place was what we liked best. The courtyard dining area was nice having views of the castle. The sound of church bells from the adjacent Catholic church was welcomed.

Zur Familienfeier wollten wir dieses mal ein gutes Restaurant finden. Es sollte einen guten Standard bieten, mit normalen Preisen. All dies bietet das Restaurant "Zur Schanze" in Büren. Darüber hinaus kann es mit einer ausserordentlich sympatischen Bedienung aufwarten. Von der Reservierung bis zur Abrechnung stimmte hier alles. Auch als wir uns massiv verspäteten blieb man in der Schanze stets freundlich und professionell. Zum Schluss bleibt zu erwähnen, dass das Essen ausgezeichnet ist. Selbst die Kinder und der Schwiegervater fanden (fast) keinen Grund zu der Beanstandung. Die Wartezeiten auf das Essen sind relativ lang, was bei frisch zubereiteten Speisen nicht überraschen sollte. Die Cocktails haben wir leider nicht probiert, sahen aber verführerisch aus.
