It was a delight to discover Sarah's curry house. While in Trinidad, I visit almost everyday. I can't get enough of their amazing home cooking. The food is fresh and tasty with the perfect blend of spices and always cooked to perfection. Opening at 6:15am for breakfast, there is a variety of dishes for vegan, vegetarian and meat lovers. Can you imagine fry aloo to die for, on whole wheat or white roti or fry bake. If you like fish, it is on the breakfast menu. Not to mention fry chicken, bigan, pumpkin, bhaji, and so much more.Lunch is another amazing adventure in taste with rice, meat and a variety of vegetable dishes.This is THE place for me and I recommend it to all my friends. Thank you Sarah for making my visit a gastronomical delight.

Roti is the signature dish of Trinidad and there is no better place to grab one than at Karamath.At first glance you may think that that this looks more like a pawn shop than a restaurant due to the metal bars on the counter but rest assured it a great place to get a roti.Make sure you order a chicken roti as that is by far the best and don't be fooled by the less expensive pinta roti as that is a roti but with far, far less filling.Also arrive early (before lunch / dinner) to avoid disappointment, this is a very popular local restaurant so if you arrive late (like i did on one occasion) you will be told "We don't have any rotis!" before you even get to the counter.

This is one of the longest serving fast food restaurants for curry and local dishes at the Gulf City Mall.....the food continues to be of a high standard where taste and quality are important. The staff are very polite and helpful.
