Das Lokal macht eher den Eindruck eines Stammlokal für Einheimische, die nach der Arbeit noch ein Bier trinken wollen. Aber die Speisekarte (in drei Sprachen) sowie die mit Kreide geschriebenen Angebote sind vielseitig. Wir haben verschiedene Essen bestellt und waren angenehm überrascht. Alles schmackhaft und liebevoll zubereitet. Man darf sich durch den ersten Eindruck wirklich nicht täuschen lassen.Der Chef sehr bemüht und eine sehr nette Bedienung.Gerne wieder.

I frequent Sarvar for business. I'm here almost more than I'm home. One of my favorite lunch spots is the Street Kitchen. It is connected to Ahoy Gastropub, which, I have actually never been to but has the same staff so I can only imagine they're just as friendly.Street kitchen has some very good burgers. The meat patties are thinner than traditional American burgers but they are large in diameter and have great taste. My favorite is the Street Egg. This is their take on a Hawaiian style burger but with local flavors. If you weren't sure by the name, the burger comes with an egg, fried. It also has bacon, onions, and mustard. The bun is delightfully soft and delicious as well. It comes with fries which are always cooked to order a the closest you'll find to 'McDonalds' style fries in the area (NOTE: I hate McDonalds but one cannot deny that their fries are tasty). You can also order steak fries which, again, are cooked to order and perfectly browned.Their quesadillas are good and come with either gyro or chicken meats. Can't go wrong with either. They also have personal pizzas which I have not yet sampled but have been told by my friends that they're good.Price is very reasonable. You can feed a small group for $10,000 Ft. or less.P.S. Don't forget to tip! Often people are told tipping is not customary here. That is wrong. Ten percent is customary for good service in Hungary.

Good, quick service. Cozy, warm, and not too crowded. The tartar beefsteak was ok, could have been a little spicier for my taste. The toast provided with the tartar was not crispy enough though. My main meal was the pork with cabbage and potatoes - it was phenomenal. My GF's dinner was the chicken steak. She was very satisfied. Good portions

I had the opportunity to visit Ahoy, she's my wife and I must say we were extremely satisfied with both the food and the staff ... Just about the waiter did not understand when I told him everything said in English and German, the woman I was talking to Czech and himself I am from Poland! Otherwise ... Thanks for a pleasant, stylish restaurant with a pleasant atmosphere, everything was top ... the food, the staff. Keep it up!

Brick Bistro opened its doors in 2019 and it is located in downtown Sarvar, right next to the Nadasdy Castle. It serves street food and special Hungarian dishes to its customers. A great variety of Hungarian wines is also available.

Very nice place. Staff speaks English which is great. We had hamburgers which come with bacon and onion marmalade (I opted out of the bacon). My husband really wanted a cheeseburger but menu reads cheddar cheese sauce and he was hesitant to try it. We ate on patio around 8:30pn, no mosquitos!Caffe Americano two thumbs up.

In the past years we visited this place several years. The service was never excellent, but OK and the waiting time for the food has been long before. But this years experiance made clear: Never again. The male servant behaved arrogant, was bored and played with his mobile while we were waiting for simple food more than an hour. Not because of a crowded restaurant. The place was nearly empty and as the customer count reached 12 the server needed help. We still waited for a second drink to order It seams that the nicer the place gets from year to year the worse the service and food quality.

Restaurant In the restaurant, excellent place for 70 people, you can have family gathering, business dinners, meeting, you can meet your friends but it is a nice place for tourist groups, as well. We are waiting our guests with home made Hungarian special

Currently the best place to eat in Sarvar in my opinion, The food quality is very good. Try the Tinody platter! Also good salads, perfect vegetarian and local cuisine. The service speed is rather OK for the area but far less professional compared to central europe or US level. But you are good taken care of. Prices are rather low compared with other good quality restaurants in Sarvar.

been a couple of times at Varkapu now. sitting on the terrasse outside is pleasant, inside nice as well. Service is good and efficient, Hungarian and German language spoken. English is more difficult though.But the food is good there. All, and I really mean all increadients are fresh and self made. The taste is good and the portions are good as well. Reasonably priced. I like coming back and I will come again!

As a coffee bar this is the coolest place around here. Great for having drinks and spend time with friends. Their desserts are amazing. ( Brownie, Strawberry tiramisu)I ate a chicken salad, and it was also delicious.
