Perhaps the best bar in Lucija at this moment. Excellent and very friendly service, cheap beverage, pleasant atmosphere and nice terrace. The bar is practically in the park, far from the road. Pleasant music at the bar, mostly rock and blues. Certainly the best burgers in the area! Hats off for the chef! Thumb up!

Arrived in Potoroz quite late and everything is seemingly shut after 9pm- unless you want a kebab from some other ropey looking places.Stumbled across the retro cantina and hit gold. Nice place, funky decor, super lovely waitress and tasty filling food at not too bad prices.Overall, very nice

We heard for Doro from our landlady, if she wouldn't told us, we would never find this place. It is a bit hidden and small. But the menu is short and with all grill food. We ordered grilled calamari. They delivered very fast and calamari was very very good and fresh. But there was some mix-up with the staff, they were confused and slow. We ordered greek salad and we got season mixed salad... It is to bad, because it is a very simple and sympathic restaurant with good spirit of home made food. It was tasty, but i am not sure, if we will come back soon.

Our Airbnb host recommended this place, which she simply referred to as the"autopark" restaurant. We had a little trouble figuring out the precise locale but once we did, we found ourselves here. It's a humble restaurant tucked into a campground, off the main road that connects Piran with Izola. Popular with the locals-- we had to wait a bit for a table. Always a good sign! I really wanted fish, but the server told me they only had big fish and it would be too much for me. I'm not sure why they couldn't cut me a filet? Not to worry, I ordered calamari. BF ordered the shellfish plate. The calamari came spilling off the plate-- very generous portion. Tasted fresh and tender, with a zippy garlicky sauce for dipping. BF thought the mussels and clams were delicious- he would have liked more in his bowl. Service was prompt and friendly. Worth a visit if you'd like a local experience.

Very nice place in residential area in Lucia, a lot of local guests. Everyone can relax there and eat something local not tourist menu. He had as a starter: goat cheese with pickeled pepper, olives. Then for main dish: ÄevapÄiÄi with french fies and onion and ajvar; black mussels, tomato salad, white and red vine. All very tasty.

We had a dinner here and it was fantastic. The place is nice, close to the harbour. The staff is very friendly and kind. We ordered a brancin with mangold and plejska with lepinja. Both of them were delicious. For drink we drank malvazija and refoska, plus some water. Finally we just paid 30 eur for everything. Price/value is absolutely good, recommended place.

This restaurant was absolutely amazing! Really nice service, we were not waiting long for food even though it was quite full up. But what was really unexpected was that the burger we've ordered was of the largest size I've ever seen! And damn, it was sooo tasty! And in comparison to its price it's ridiculous. And as a thanks to us, we've been given a degustation of their national alcohol for free. Can only recommend:)

The building is beautiful, shining clean, amazing views, the ambiance is just perfect. We were kindly greeted by the staff, and taken to our table. We ordered a four-course degustation menu. All the dishes are freshly made and delicious. There are about six dishes in the first course, then pasta, then two beef steaks, and then two desserts including a lovely gluten-free cake. In total, we ate about ten dishes and all of them unforgettable. The server was superb. He was there for us all the time. We have not felt waiting or searching for him not even for a moment. Financial-wise: The four-course degustation menu is more than worth the money. We were more than full and the cost is not even high for what we got. The champagnes are not expensive either: 72 for a bottle of Clicquot in a good restaurant is a more-than-fair price. Hisa Torkla made our evening unforgettable. We will come back to Torkla for sure but it will be hard for them to beat that night.

But what else do you expect? The cold starter (squid, anchovy and tuna) was followed by an excellent fillet of sea bass. Fast, efficient service. Note that wash rooms are up a flight of stairs. Very close to the bus terminal and on the road by the harbour. Feels very touristy - hence only 3 stars.

The food was very tasty and varied. We had a slight misunderstanding and they solved it instantly. Location might not be the best but you forget that quickly because the atmosphere is nice. Feels genuine. Also as someone who always wears shorts and skirts, I was happy about the padding on my chair haha!
