We had the fish platter for two, and it was amazing. My only complaint is it could have been a bit more, and would have preferred to pick our own sides, which you can not, is fries and swiss chard.The staff was friendly and nice.The bathroom could use more cleaning and air refreshers.Overall it's a good place to eat at.

After we went at first dinner to the beachfront we followed the good reviews and had nice dinner in this little restaurant.We had the truffle soup and the mixed sea food plate as starter. Especially the sea food plate was very good and from a good quality.As main dish we had the fusi, a special noodle kind from the region with scampi tails and white truffle. The truffle was fresh and amount OK. The dish was 18 +5 euro for the white truffle.All in all a good evening. Only the light was little bit bothering in the hall. The service also very friendly.

For one of the best restaurants in Piran, we certainly did not think so. The bread was good and the service was fine. The area was very sticky and hot because itâs in a side street. My parents had risotto with asparagus and scampi. It tasted ok, all I could taste was cream. My brother had the chicken and dried ham and it was ok too. It wasnât served particularly well. I had the tuna steak with spinach and potatoes. The tuna steak was fine but it was overdone, chewy and tasted more like ham than anything. The potatoes were fine and the spinach tasted dirty. Iâm sure there are better options on the menu, but what we had wasnât worth having.

Situated between two top class hotels, this restaurant served wonderful quality grilled fish. The fish was presented complete and de-boned and served by an experienced member of staff. (might have been the boss)Facing onto the square with the ruins of an old church. Reach by road or just alone the Promenade from the Grand Hotel Bernardin, and up a flight of steps

Stopped here for a very late lunch had scallops and tuna tartar for starters then we both had the veal steak with shared side orders of salad and fried potatoes. Good service, food arrived promptly (the restaurant was very quiet) and was delicious.

But what else do you expect? The cold starter (squid, anchovy and tuna) was followed by an excellent fillet of sea bass. Fast, efficient service. Note that wash rooms are up a flight of stairs. Very close to the bus terminal and on the road by the harbour. Feels very touristy - hence only 3 stars.

Because it rained, we decided to leave Piran and walk to Portoroz to take a look around and enjoy a meal at this restaurant we had previously been to.On our first visit we had mixed feelings, but we were hungry and gave it a second try.We ordered mussels, polenta and sardines. All dishes were very good, fairly priced and portions very big.Service was quick, not overly friendly but diligent I would say.If you want to grab a quick bite in a casual environment this is a very good option which I can only recommend.

Our pizzas were delicious, only had a problem with my daughters, who is gluten intolerant (really). Unfortunately something was not right with the gluten free pizza and my daughter had a bad time after eating her especially prepared, gluten free pizza. We were assured that they knew all about the restrictions, including the cooking.

We spent 5 nights at Portoroz, and our last dinner here was in the Trattoria del Pescarote:Naturally, we've choosen seafood, what else?! It was excellent, fresh and tasty. The think, which was above our expextations was the service itself: Our waiter, Daniel was confident, professional and, of course very polite! Dear manager/owner: You have to take care that emploies like him!Besides, the wine (like every wine this country) was memorable too! We definitivley offer this restaurant, thanks for the positive memory!

The food was very tasty and varied. We had a slight misunderstanding and they solved it instantly. Location might not be the best but you forget that quickly because the atmosphere is nice. Feels genuine. Also as someone who always wears shorts and skirts, I was happy about the padding on my chair haha!
