Wir waren am 30. April hier. Leider war nicht viel los, da sich wahrscheinlich alle auf das Hexenfeuer vorbereitet haben. Wir waren wie immer begeistert und kommen immer wieder gern her.

I have been coming to Sirtaki's since 2006 when I first started visting Zwickau on business. Seven years have passed since then, and it's still one my favourite restaurants in the region.The food is simply amazing; It always comes piping hot and well presented, the portions are more than generous, you get a free basket of home-made bread and a small complimentary salad with your meal, everything is perfectly seasoned or spiced and the menu is very extensive. I guarantee there will be something for even the fussiest of eaters!I especially recommend the Garlic Mushrooms (Number 304 on the Menu) and the Chicken Breast Fillet in Metaxa Sauce (Number 338 on the Menu).The staff are very friendly and make you feel welcome from the moment you walk through the door. I might be old-fashioned, but I particularly like how they meet you at the door with a handshake and best wishes both when you first come in, and when you leave. One piece of advice, if you're driving or have to be up early the next day, make sure you tell the staff as they do have a tendancy to keep the Ouzo and Metaxa flowing!The restaurant itself is always clean and tidy, the Greek background music isn't intrusive, the spirit burners on every table are a nice touch and there is plenty of room for large groups; you don't all end up sat on eachother's laps!I've been here many times in the past, and will certainly be visiting again in the not too distant future.

Die Speisekarte ist sehr groà und es gibt griechische Spezialitäten wie Stifado, Juvetzi, Moussaka, Saganaki, die man in der Umgebung sonst nicht so leicht findet. Wir erlebten sehr zuvorkommende und höfliche Gastgeber. Das Restaurant ist sehr sauber und hübsch eingerichtet. Die Preise sind in Ordnung.

If you donât speak or read German, I do not recommend that you eat at this restaurant. We learned the hard way that gyros in Zwickau are not the same as in the U.S. or Greece. My husband thought he was ordering basic gyros and requested them ânein zwiebelnâ â no onions. Imagine his surprise when he received a pile of gyro meat topped with an equal amount of chopped onions â with no sauce and no pita. When he reminded our waiter he didnât want onions, the waiter simply removed them to a separate plate â with his hand! I thought I was ordering a deluxe pita with feta cheese, onion, and tomato, but in fact it was some type of gyro casserole topped with melted cheese â also sans pita.The German menu may make it perfectly clear that these gyros will not have pitas, and in all possibility, what we wanted was available if we had known how to ask for it. But if you need an English translation or assistance, you will have better luck at Brauhaus Brauerei or Non solo pizza y vino.

Ich war mit meiner Familie an einem Mittwoch im Februar 2018 zum Mittagessen in dieser Gaststätte. Diese befindet sich nördlich, nahe dem Zentrum von Zwickau.Unweit befindet sich die B 175. Parkplatzmöglichkeiten befinden sich nahe der Gaststätte. Diese ist typisch griechisch eingerichtet. Die Toiletten sind sehr sauber.Wir setzten uns hin und wurden kurz schon danach von einem Kellner nach unseren ausgewählten Essen/Trinken befragt. AuÃer der normalen Speisekarte gibt es noch eine Mittagskarte (wochentags), welche preisgünstiger ist. Ich bestellte bei der Mittagskarte den Dias-Teller (2 Gehacktesklopse, Gyros, Pommes, Reis) Dazu gab es einen Salatteller swoe eine Hühnersuppe für 6,00 Euro.Die Anderen bestellten bei der normalen Karte Bifteki gefüllt mit Käse, dazu Reis und Pommes und Salatteller für 10,60 Euro und Souzouki (3 Gehacktes mit Reis, Pommes) und Salatteller für 9,20 Euro. Eine Wasser 0,2 l kostete 1,50 Euro und eine Cola 0,2 l 1,60 Euro. Das Essen wurde schnell gebracht. Wie immer gab es dazu einen gratis Ouzo dazu. Die Kellner waren sehr freundlich.Die Hühnersuppe war mit Reis und war heiss, aber ungewürzt bzw. ungesalzen. Ich musste stark nachwürzen. Der Gyros schmeckte gut. Die Klopseschmeckten normal. Der gemischte Salatteller war mit einen Essig, Ãl, Tomatendressing gewürzt und schmeckte nicht schlecht. Insgesamt kann man sagen, dass Essen in der Gaststätte ist nicht schlecht, aber auch nicht sehr gut. Wiederkommen würde ich schon einmal, um noch andere Gerichte auf der Speisekarte zu probieren.

Sehr schön eingerichtet. Sehr freundliches Personal. Essen stand schnell auf dem Tisch. Nur geschmeckt hat es eher durchschnittlich, nichts Besonderes. Portion war allerdings sehr groÃ. Ãberrascht wurden wir mit einem kleinen Dessert. Leider konnte uns die Bedienung nicht beantworten, was es ist.

Ich muss jetzt mal eine Lanze brechen für das Athos in Werdau! Wir gehen sehr oft griechisch essen, oft unterwegs in Deutschland, oft in Zwickau und immer öfter in Werdau (wegen der räumlichen Nähe). Und es ist ein guter Grieche! Service: Wir können bisher nicht klagen (und waren vielleicht schon ein Dutzend mal hier essen). In griechischen Restaurants sind die Kellner immer schnell und wortkarg, dass scheint die Mentalität zu sein. Wie woanders auch, ist der Ouzo manchmal schneller am Tisch, als man selbst. Der Chef ist nett, die Kellner die schon länger da sind, ebenfalls. Ãbertriebens Gehabe mit Stammgästen gibt es nicht und das finde ich gut so. Bei unseren ca. 12 Besuchen kam es bisher 1x vor, dass was vergessen wurde, ich denke das ist normal und kann überall passieren. Essen: Im Vgl. mit anderen Griechen in der Region finde ich das Tzaziki super. Die Fleisch-Qualität war bisher immer gut, meistens sehr gut. Insbesondere das Lamm ist sehr gut. Die Calamari sind nur Durchschnitt. Das Weissbier kommt von Maisel´s aus Bayreuth und das alkoholfreie von denen ist topp. Auch das gibt bei mir einen Pluspunkt. Preislich ist alles im üblichen Rahmen, Ouzo gibt es ausreichend und frei auf´s Haus. Alles in allem ein guter bis sehr guter Grieche! Deshalb auch immer gut besucht.
