This gem of a place is at the intersection of several hiking and cycling trails in the woods on the way up to the mountain Gross Feldberg just outside of Königstein im Taunus Germany. Fuchstanz translates to "fox dance" and while we did not see any foxes much less any dancing we did have an immensely good time. There are actually two small restaurants with indoor and outdoor seating. There is also a beverage vendor outside. You can't drive here so do some research and find a trail to hike to this wonderful out-of-the-way stop. It will be well worth the effort!

We were ex-pats in Kronberg in the 90's. Zum Weinberg was our FAVORITE restaurant. It is at the base of the altstadt. We have been sad to see it change hands but we have just had dinner there and we are happy to say it is back and as sweet as ever.

In the Kronberg old town. Sit outside on the nice terrace amongst the half timbered homes. The inside is designed more like a club than a cafe (lime green). Service is good (not great) and friendly. No English menu. Selections are varied from breakfast, salads, pasta, traditional dishes and some more international dishes (curry). I had a Caesar salad with grilled chicken. Good. Fresh. Chicken well prepared. Would be better with Less dressing, homemade croutons and shaved Parmesan.

I ate several meals here, lunches and dinners and after dinner drinks, and was very happy. Good menu, a little pricey but not outrageous, excellent food, and a great staff. The views of Frankfurt from the patio are exceptional. It felt like Hollywood Hills, California only with nicer people.

We went for supper in early June, needed food, drink and to shelter from the rain. Didn't sit outside because of rain although there were plenty of people sitting in out. Inside was cosy and warm. Waitress was very helpful and friendly. Short menu with local specialities and good beer. Wine is also available. A very pleasant place to eat and drink; the Frankfurter schnitzel was delicious.

Good food, nice atmosphere and near to a hotel. You can go there if you don't want to eat in the hotel restaurant. Dogs are allowed.

We used to come regularly here and were very happy with the restaurant. Service was good, the ambiente was good and the food was good.After trying to come twice on a sunday at 1945 we were told on one occasion the kitchen was now closed as there was no food left and the second time that we could only have the cold roast beef if we wanted to eat.We will not be coming again.

I had the chance to eat there 3 times as I stayed in the hotel. The first 2 times were excellent, especially for the beef filet. However, the last time I had the German speciality made of rolled/minced beef which gave me very strong stomach ache (food poisoning). The staff is extremely nice and professional. It was great to get as complimentary starter some bread with sliced meat and butter.
