We came here for our anniversary and were quite delighted. The ambiance is modern and the seating comfortable. The service was helpful and often. The food was nice and portions reasonable, however the menu is not very extensive. This is not a bad thing, everything is obviously prepared fresh, but the options may not suit every taste. I ordered a vegetarian risotto because none of the options offering fish or meat were pleasing at the time. The chefs change the menu with the season, and this is really nice. This is also a nice location for Kaffee und Kuchen.

Das Gast liegt in ruhiger Lage und machte stets einen sauberen und aufgeräumten Eindruck. Die Betreiber waren sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Die Zimmer sind zwar etwas sporadisch eingerichtet, aber völlig ausreichend für den Stil eines Gasthauses.Das Frühstück hat uns mit seiner Vielfalt und dem Service auch überzeugt.Alles in allem ein schöner Aufenthalt - empfehlenswert und preiswert!

Stunning food, with local ingredients made for a really enjoyable meal at this restaurant with a business colleague. We let the servers recommend their specials and feeling satiated and stuffed after the really great entree and mains, reluctantly agreed to have their recommendation of dessert. Gemütlich und lecker essen in entspannter Atmosphere.Die Küche ist wirklich gut und erfüllt auch mal ausgefallene Extrawünsche wenn es machbar ist. Auch der Service klappt in der Regel gut, selbst wenn es voll ist. Weiter so!

Das Essen im Forsthaus war spitze. Ich hatte ein Schnitzel mit einer sehr leckeren SoÃe und einem schmackhaften Salat. Die Pommes haben allerdings nicht geschmeckt. Als wir dort einkehrten war es sehr warm und wir konnten im hübschen Biergarten sitzen. Leider ist der Service nicht besonders oft zu uns gekommen, wir hätten gerne noch etwas nachbestellt. Prima: Wanderparkplatz mit schönen Wanderwegen direkt vor der Tür!

Im Tor III kann man sehr gut in gemütlicher Kneipenatmosphäre und gutem Essen einen Abend mit Freunden verbringen. Auch bei der Speisekarte wurde bisher jeder fündig, wobei wir meistens bei den Bürgern bleiben, da die einfach gut sind.
