A cut above most of the restaurants in the area between the station and Karlsplatz, with a very extensive and starry wine list, but more modest fare as well. Wine is the focus, but the menu is interesting and well presented. Gazpacho to start was excellent and a generous portion. Mixed fis on a spinach risotto was tasty, well cooked and generous. Spinach ravioli with ricotta was also good. Attentive efficient service, pleasant atmosphere. Not cheap, but worth it for a good experience. Some reviewers found this their âbest experience everâ. Well, itâs a Michelin commented Brasserie with a nice menu - I canât fault the kitchen. However, service is hectic and not really what one would expect in a Kempinski restaurant. During my evening here, the main waiter couldnât explain how one of their signature dishes is composed and he really struggled with an American couple next to me (he didnât understand what rare means, after taking a steak order....)Nice food (but nothing that swipes your feet away), cold (hotel chain) interior and disappointing quality of service. Even if it was closed, the friendly staff opened up the inside of the restaurant for us only, since it was completely crowded outside due to the nice weather.The wienerschnitzel was excellent and so was the weissbier. The barâs theme is the weirdest and makes no sense. Old TVs with the words âliquid cocaineâ and then license plates from Hawaii. Itâs dark and dungeon like with interesting staff. The ribs that are rated as âhellâ are hot as hell and not enjoyable unless you want spicy butt the next day. Overall decent basic food but not something Iâd return to. Smells like alcohol and bad decisions.

Visited Schiller brau after reading the TA reviews and it was close to our hotel - we were underwhelmed unfortunately. It was extremely busy and took a long time to get drinks and food ordered - this was ok as we were out for the evening . The beers were nice but my husbands braised beef cheek was very tough and probably needed much longer in the oven - the vegetables were rather bland too. My schnitzel was ok but the cucumber potato salad was very bitter . We were possibly unlucky with what we ordered but we were disappointed with our meals . Servus feeby,We are very sorry that you were unlucky with your food.We give our best every day, unfortunately it happened to us once that we make mistakes.I hope you understand.I still wish them all the best.

We visited DinnerHopping while in Munich as a last minute booking on âItalian Nightâ.Everything was great - we booked easily through Facebook and the host Vera was accommodating and friendly.Food was very good and entertainment by Lena was awesome!Great night even with most of the bus speaking German (only us two plus one other couple spoke English)!

We were staying in the area and happened upon this restaurant and so glad we did. First, the owners who run the restaurant are lovely, they dont speak English much but great you with a warm smile and a handshake, and make you feel like family! The food...omg, I gained at least a few pounds there! It is soooooo delicious! Their specialty is Croatian but they also have the standard German plates as well. Very rich, tasty and bountiful food. The locals dine here as well, so definitely not touristy fare. We loved it so much, we returned on our last night in Germany. Highly recommend!
