Went here with a group from work... sampled many things from both the beverage and food menu. Only dislike was the dark beer on the beer sampler flight. The waterfront location is nice. They have outdoor seating with umbrellas. Almost felt like the Danube.

We went on a friday night and it was packed with a local and foreign crowd enjoying drinks after dinner. We didn't order any meals but the dessert and beer were good. The band played popular songs from rnb to rock n roll that kept everyone dancing till 12.30 am. If you want to have a quiet drink then there is a beer garden on the street level that is quieter.

We have eaten here often and have never been disappointed. Normally we get a sausage platter but this evening we got lamb chops, steak salad, and pretzel tree, and a liter of draft German beer. We ate outside for the first time and the view of Xinghai Bay was amazing. The wait staff is quite friendly and courteous. Although the menu is mostly German, there are a few Chinese dishes. The only fault is that like most restaurants in China, they have never caught on to bringing the drinks immediately so the customer is happy and will probably buy more drinks. They are also quite slow with everything else as well. It is not a place for in and out eating but the stunning view makes the wait painless.
