I have been visiting Biberach-an-der-Riss twice a year for at least twenty years, but this was the first time that I had visited Cafe Weichhardt. I was with a group of German friends, but arrived late as I was forced, by my wife, to have my hair cut at the Barbers in the next block. I was, therefore, able to look at all the different dishes that my friends were eating for lunch and, knowing that the evening meal would be quite substantial, I selected something that was fairly light. The menu was not extensive and nor was the wine list, but the food and the wine were excellent, as was the service. The internal restaurant is currently being expanded, but we ate on tables on the pavement so that we were able to talk to friends who passed by. The general feeling amongst the dozen or so friends that we were with was that this restaurant would become one of the favourites in Biberach - given that it was in the centre of town, the food and drinks were of good quality - albeit not cordon bleu - and the price was very reasonable, compared to other outlets. So - if the natives are sufficiently impressed to want to return time and time again - who am I to argue?

Fun and friendly, this is the hip an happening place in Biberach. A great selection of burgers and done to your liking. I liked the seating which allowed a large group to be sat together easily. Laid back and informal but with great feed and service. The fries are great as well!! Enjoy.

That place is really great. Good place with adult guests of all ages the come for a typical local dish, good wine and beer or even whiskey in a traditional southern german pub. Wonderful decoration, friendly service, really fair pricing and a happy crowd wherever you look. Love this place - unfortunately too fas away for being there much more often.

Many friends have stayed at this hotel and eaten in this restaurant and all have praised the service, but, as I had neither stayed nor eaten at the restaurant, I had been unable to comment. However, last weekend, I had lunch at this restaurant, with twelve friends/council officials, and I found it to be most enjoyable. My wife and I, separately, chose maultaschen, which was not on the menu for the day, but which was provided without question, and our fellow guests chose a selection of main courses, all of which were of a very high standard. The service was comparatively quick, given the number of diners and the diversity of dishes chosen, and the remaining courses were excellent. I have been told that this is now the best hotel in Biberach-an-der-Riss, but, as we stay with friends, I cannot comment on this statement. However, having dined at the restaurant at lunchtime, I am quite sure that the quality of the food, the service, and the general ambiance of the restaurant will ensure that we do return in May 2015!!

There with work, and a meal had been pre arranged for our group. Steak, Kangaroo, and Ostrich. All v good, but I definitely prefer cow! Would have been a nightmare for a vegetarian as my wife would have felt ill with the sight and smell of so much meat. Drinks kept coming so all was good. Bit of a walk from the hotel.

A classical Inn where you get good regional food, meet regional or local people playing cards or talking to each other and get a good regional beer in a comfortable ambient. Very relaxing with a very good Service and everything in a good quality. Don't miss this place at the traditional Schützen-Festival in town. Then it's a special place.

During the last 18 years I stay at the hotel Zur Pfanne and anjoy the good home style restaurant.The family and all service people are very welcoming and it has a good atmosphere.The hotel rooms are clean and nice, recently they added free of charge WiHi, and it is not commen at other big hotels that charge for it.

The ambience is lovely with wood panelling and lots of items to discover. Seating is comfortable enough. The food is somewhere between good local stuff and pretentious. The soup was nearly too salty, to small a portion, but the main courses were decent. Nothing excels. The duck was quite dry, potatoes came with too many onions. Many wines are offered by the glass and these are fine.

We visited Biberkeller over the weekend for a family dinner. It was a very pleasant experience which I highly recommend to anyone visiting Biberach. The food is decent and their cocktails are real good. We've been to this restaurant two times in three weeks and on both occassions the food was divine. There are many interesting and unusual items on their menu, all local, and everything we chose, from starter to dessert, all tasted really good. Service and atmosphere tops! Would highly recommend this restaurant for any occassion. The first time we struggled to find it as it is on the grounds of the tennis courts, but we noticed that the road and entrance are now sign-posted, but they need to clearly post a sign to show where the restaurant actually is...
