Many friends have stayed at this hotel and eaten in this restaurant and all have praised the service, but, as I had neither stayed nor eaten at the restaurant, I had been unable to comment. However, last weekend, I had lunch at this restaurant, with twelve friends/council officials, and I found it to be most enjoyable. My wife and I, separately, chose maultaschen, which was not on the menu for the day, but which was provided without question, and our fellow guests chose a selection of main courses, all of which were of a very high standard. The service was comparatively quick, given the number of diners and the diversity of dishes chosen, and the remaining courses were excellent. I have been told that this is now the best hotel in Biberach-an-der-Riss, but, as we stay with friends, I cannot comment on this statement. However, having dined at the restaurant at lunchtime, I am quite sure that the quality of the food, the service, and the general ambiance of the restaurant will ensure that we do return in May 2015!!

The ,,Ente" (The ,,Duck") - a beautiful historical building with a long tradition of hospitality. An insiders' tip in Biberach. In Biberachs historical district the building is hidden in one of the alleys just two minutes away from the market square. Right in front of the house there are a few parking spaces, further parking facilities - including those for buses - can be found nearby. As a small courtesy we will refund your parking fee. The cosy ambience of the restaurant both indoors and outside on the Terrace invite you to stay and relax. Let us spoil you with culinary delights ranging from homemade Swabian delicacies to seasonal dishes and - during our speciality weeks - to venison, asparagus varieties, Italian cuisine and - if booked in advance - suckling pig. All dishes are also available as takeaways. Our dishes are freshly prepared by Headchef Benjamin Gebhart and his Team, the various fixed-price meals will nevertheless reach your table in a very short time. In case you should be in a hurry. For connoisseurs of wines we're well stocked with regional and international wines that will please your palate and form an excellent addition to a delicious dinner or a rustic local evening meal. Our restaurant seats up to 60 people, of which 25 can wine and dine in the Rommerstube, which is especially suitable for family occasions and small functions. Another 60 seats can be found in our beer garden. We are looking forward to your visit.

The ambience is lovely with wood panelling and lots of items to discover. Seating is comfortable enough. The food is somewhere between good local stuff and pretentious. The soup was nearly too salty, to small a portion, but the main courses were decent. Nothing excels. The duck was quite dry, potatoes came with too many onions. Many wines are offered by the glass and these are fine.

This is an amazing Italian restaurant with the largest pizzas served in Biberach. Really, they are bigger than the plate and if two of you order one each, there's no place for anything else on the table. Their pastas are also delicious and the staff are friendly. Highly recommended!

I needed a quick place to grab something to eat and Coffee Fellows looked clean and inviting. I was able to get a bagel Sandwich, which was perfect for the moment. The bagel was great, the service was fast, and the coffee was excellent. I believe this is a chain in Germany...great option for a quick bite.

There with work, and a meal had been pre arranged for our group. Steak, Kangaroo, and Ostrich. All v good, but I definitely prefer cow! Would have been a nightmare for a vegetarian as my wife would have felt ill with the sight and smell of so much meat. Drinks kept coming so all was good. Bit of a walk from the hotel.

Enjoy our fabolous food and the corresponding wines from our wineshop. We offer lunch and dinner. Our food is freshly prepared in our open kitchen and mainly from regional suppliers. In winter time we have an open fireplace and in summer time we have a beautiful Terrace for you to enjoy the sun with a small children's playground. Welcome to an unique experience in the heart of Biberach's historic town center!

The service and overall look of the restaurant was lovely however I felt that the very long tables gave no privacy and it was a little cramped when people wanted to move. The food selection was good and there was a few upmarket ingredients used. A little overpriced for what I got to be honest.

During the last 18 years I stay at the hotel Zur Pfanne and anjoy the good home style restaurant.
The family and all service people are very welcoming and it has a good atmosphere.
The hotel rooms are clean and nice, recently they added free of charge WiHi, and it is not commen at other big hotels that charge for it.

A classical Inn where you get good regional food, meet regional or local people playing cards or talking to each other and get a good regional beer in a comfortable ambient. Very relaxing with a very good Service and everything in a good quality. Don't miss this place at the traditional Schützen-Festival in town. Then it's a special place.

Mit einem Kumpel von mir, der in Biberach arbeitet, war ich in dem Alten Haus. Er hatte Maultaschen, ich Linsen mit Spätzle - und es war beides hervorragend. Der Service ist freundlich und enorm schnell. Preise sehr in Ordnung. Wer etwas deftiges essen möchte, ist hier sehr gut aufgehoben.
