I have been eating in the restaurant for numerous years and have never been disappointed. The quality of the meals has been constantly excellent and we have never ever been unhappy with our meals. Service is quick and very friendly. The location is a bit off the beaten track for non-locals and I assume your average tourist will never find the place, though it is only a 10 minute stroll from the center of town. Reservations can often be necessary, as the restaurant is rather popular with the locals.

Das Ambiente ist gemütlich und der Service war sehr freundlich. Sowohl auf der Homepage als auch der Speisekarte wurde auf besondere wechselnde Mittagsgerichte verwiesen. Als wir dort waren, gab es dann aber keine. Und es gab noch nicht mal alle Speisen, die auf der Karte waren. Die Auswahl war also sehr begrenzt. Mein Gulasch war lecker. Dazu gab es Kartoffelscheiben, die gebraten oder frittiert waren, jedenfalls waren sie sehr fettig. Der Salat war im Dressing ersoffen. Schade!

Das Essen ist lecker, aber wenn man ein Schnitzel bestellt, bekommt man immer gleich zwei. Das schaffen nur wenige zu essen. Lieber nur ein Schnitzel, dafür preiswerter. Der Beilagensalat ist Geschmackssache. Ich mag keine Bohnen oder Möhren aus dem Glas. Der Grillteller ist zu empfehlen. Es gibt auch immer saisonales Essen. Die Einrichtung dürfte mal erneuert werden, ist schon ziemlich in die Jahre gekommen.

The heading says it all really. The atmosphere is friendly and the restaurant was busy for a Monday evening. The service was good but overall the food was average but as the bill was â¬75 for three people our evening meal was value for money.

Frisch aus dem hohen Venn sind wir direkt zur Broatpann. Dort angekommen empfängt einen die kölsche Bedienung mit den Worten. "Drusse nochens Aufbau, dun ma net" Weil es etwa getröpfelt hat, wurde sie Aussenbestuhlung eingepackt. Haben wir eben drinnen gesessen.Essen war mal wieder top und ausreichend.Nach 5 Jahren alles wie immer ;)

Steaks, das ist der eigentliche Grund wrum wir immer wieder nach Büsdorf fahren. Um so überraschter sind wir dann wenn wir uns mal wieder für ein aktuelles Gericht von der Tages- oder Aktionsempfehlung entschieden haben und es wieder einmal lecker war.Nach dem Renovieren im Frühjahr ist jetzt sicher auch das Ambiente etwas aufgepept.Für mich immer volle Punktzahl.

This place specializes in white asparagus and is located in the middle of fields with no official address (GPS users please input either Latitude 50 degrs.58' 2.1", Longitude East 6 degrs.41' 56.219" or 'Cologne Hohlweg' and follow signs taking you off the main road).We had a relatively formal dinner for 10 persons early on a Friday evening, the restaurant has an extension in a marquee tent, however, tables were beautifully set with cloth napkins, candles and real flower arrangement.Food was excellent with a relatively small but varied menu which should cover all tastes. Prices very reasonable but service whilst very friendly slow on that night.Definitely worth a visit if you're in the area.

I spent a few weeks in Bergheim on a business trip and this place became my favorite spot for dinner. A nice menu with decent prices. Food was really good and the portions are big. Never managed to empty my plate. Menu also in English which is not a given in Germany
