...in a simple setting. Really good cooking at a very reasonable price. Set menu for lunch is a tenner for two courses and 14,50 for three. A vegetarian option is usually available. Extensive choice of wines by the glass. Friendly staff, guess it´s family run.

Ein kleines Restaurant, das uns bei den inzwischen zahlreichen Besuchen noch nie enttäuscht - dafür aber immer wieder mal positiv überrascht hat!Wer hier hingeht, freut sich auf Pizza und Pasta - gehobene italienische Küche wird nicht angeboten. Dementsprechend bodenständig ist das Ambiente, das schnörkellos ganz leicht einen geschmackvollen Retrostil ausstrahlt. Die groÃen schwarzweià Fotos von alten Filmen (Sophia Loren, Audrey Hepburn) unterstreichen die Atmosphäre.Zu der umfangreichen Speisekarte werden auf Schiefertafeln Tagesspezialitäten angeboten. Egal was man bestellt: Immer ist alles lecker. Bis die Gerichte fertig sind, werden Pizzabrötchen mit Sauercreme und Butter gereicht.Den Köchen kann beim Herstellen der Speisen vom Platz aus zugesehen werden. Immer wieder sehr gerne!

I had "Pappardelle with fresh yellow boletuses and bacon in a whitewine-onion sauce". This was a meal from the weekly menu card and it was delicious. The service is great as always - friendly and fast. The table decoration is nice. In warmer days you also can enjoy the beer garden. It's a nice place for kids as well. There is a playground close to the restaurant. The place is save because there's less road traffic.

Superb starter of mixed Italian antipasti and a great pizza in an entertaining location overlooking the track at the Michael Schumacher karting centre. Recommended. Service a little slow but not really an issue.

Amazing food with even more friendly people! I jave eaten the squid carpaccio as a starter and the suggestion of the day that was amazing! Vicenzo and valeria make you feel at home!

auf einer radtour sind wir hier eher zufällig gelandet, was wir wohlgemerkt nicht bereut haben!im gegenteil: in dem kleinen beschaulichen elsdorf sogar mittags geöffnet (und gut besucht!).äuÃerst zuvorkommende bedienung!hervorragendes essen (mengenmäÃig kaum zu schaffen!) und gepflegte getränke.wir werden wiederkommen!

The heading says it all really. The atmosphere is friendly and the restaurant was busy for a Monday evening. The service was good but overall the food was average but as the bill was â¬75 for three people our evening meal was value for money.

Wir haben das Restaurant mit unseren Freunden besucht und dem Schlemmerblock.Das das Restaurant nicht sehr gross ist, macht es einen gemütlichen Eindruck und ein besonderes Ambiente.Wir wurden freundlich empfangen und bedient.Das Essen, die selbstgemachten Nudeln mit Lachs und Crevetten, ist sehr zu empfehlen.Vorab gab es einen Teller mit diversen Antipasti und Brot.Auch nach dem Essen gab es noch auf Wunsch ein kostenloses alkoholisches Getränk.Und etwas Süsses zum AbschlussWir waren rundum zufrieden und kommen gerne wieder..

It has been a pleasure to explore this restaurant in this small city nearby Cologne. For sure a very good choice to take the sole: extraordinary delicious! Moreover also the service and the environment was exquisite so that we spent a wonderful evening surrounded by very nice people. Only the entrance with the air trap needs some improvements to protect the guests from the cold wind outside.
