Time: 9.30 PM. All the best proposals by Tripadvisor was closed or closing. Last chance: Hofschaenke. Elegant in Bavarian style, a waiter smiling accepting our hungry prayer and confirming the available kitchen open, gave us a satisfaction with a very cold and fresh homemade beer and two of the best Bavarian dishes in order with the rules... Try yourself. Cheers with my third beer! Ordered right now. Ciao

I found this restaurant by chance, looking for some place to have lunch with a big grou, somewhere in Passau or surroundings. I sent lots of requests but they were the only one answering me imediately! Lovely place, nice inside, excelent food, excelent house-beer, quick and very polite, friendly service, all in a one... a place where i would go back any time ! For sure I will recomand it to my friends ! thanks a lot !Dear Marieta, thank you very much for this very positive review. It was a pleasure having your group in our house. Postwirt restaurant is attached to Richstein Posthotel. The restaurant offers delicious Bavarian Style dishes. Everything we ate there was very tasty. We can recommend: liver soup, wild mushroom dish, cordon bleu, filet of sole and house grappa Postgeist.

This was a fantastic find. The food was simply fantastic. Excellent value for money....especially the mittagsmenu. Yep it was so good we went back for lunch two days later after some disappointments. Thank you and we will certainly be back when next in Bad Füssing.

Wir gehen immer wieder gerne in die Weinpress, der Wein ist gut und bezahlbar. Die Kleinigkeiten zum Essen passen gut zum Wein und sind relativ preisgünstig. Besonders die verschiedenen Aufstriche mit Brotkorb zu 1 ⬠(Bioqualität) sind gut und günstig. Wir kommen gerne wieder, liebe Grüsse an Thomas und Christian

Ich mochte das Lokal beim ersten betreten bereits. Es ist sehr einladend und sehr ansprechend dekoriert. Das Essen war lecker und das Personal freundlich. Rund um zu frieden.

Visit their rustic restaurant whenever I am in town for a few days and is has always had consistent quality and service. This time our party had two different game dishes that both were tasty and prepared nicely. Many nights they offer entertainment by some local musical talent. The restaurant itself is a 20 minute walk or quick bike ride out of the city center of Bad Fuessing - but the local complimentary bus also stop at the cute little village plaza.

When they say Alte Taverne they mean really old and full of atmosphere - Biergarten nestles under lovely trees - Bier and local food at excellent prices (the local trout was lovely) - we will be back soon

We were there for second time and once again we were very satisfied with our meal and great beer. Also menu in English is very welcome.
