This was a fantastic find. The food was simply fantastic. Excellent value for money....especially the mittagsmenu. Yep it was so good we went back for lunch two days later after some disappointments. Thank you and we will certainly be back when next in Bad Füssing.

It was a pity that we bumped into Sirtaki restaurant only on our last evening in Bad Fussing, otherwise we could have tried more dinners there. As we have been to Greece before, we are familiar with Greek cuisine and really love it. And the meals we ordered at Sirtaki didn't dissappoint us! Everything was delicious and besides, we were treated to some ouzo (kind of Greek vodka) which was on the house. Luckily, the waiter happened to speak not only English but Russian too, as his parents were immigrants from the ex-USSR. So we had a nice talk with that young guy who told us some interesting things about the restaurant. We will definitely come to Sirtaki again when we go to Bad Fussing next time.

When they say Alte Taverne they mean really old and full of atmosphere - Biergarten nestles under lovely trees - Bier and local food at excellent prices (the local trout was lovely) - we will be back soon

Visit their rustic restaurant whenever I am in town for a few days and is has always had consistent quality and service. This time our party had two different game dishes that both were tasty and prepared nicely. Many nights they offer entertainment by some local musical talent. The restaurant itself is a 20 minute walk or quick bike ride out of the city center of Bad Fuessing - but the local complimentary bus also stop at the cute little village plaza.

As an Italian living in Germany, I was expecting little more than an average pizza and some Italian looking and sounding dishes. I was pleasantly surprised to come across some authentic Italian cuisine, and in a cosy place which for once was indeed run and managed by Italians. Pizza was definitely good, pasta was not overcooked and the coffee and liqueur at the end tasted just like at home.
Can´t help recommending it!

We ate here on our one night in Bad Fussing. The menu is mostly about pizzas and pasta.
Our experience was that the cooking was pretty average, though the portions are quite large. There are plentiful Italian options in this town, so I wouldn't rush back to this place.

Josef ist ein aufmerksamer Gastgeber, der gerne Empfehlungen ausspricht. Seine Trefferquote ist hoch. Die Qualität der von uns verkosteten Weine ist ok, die servierte Menge von 1/8 Liter schon an das Österreiche Nachbarland angelehnt. Die Aufschnittplatten sehen sehr gut aus. Die rote Aufschnittmaschine mit manueller Bedienung ein echter Hingucker.
