Ursprungsziel war die rd. 300 m höher gelegene SchuhbraeuAlm , doch Hochnebel im Wendelsteingebiet lieà mich die auf gleicher Wanderseite liegende Wirtsalm auf 895 m nehmen . 2 Gebuehren Parkplaetze dafür gibt's : Den über die Wendelsteinstrasse erreichbaren " Unteren Jenbachtal P " und von dort den Wassererlebnissteig immer am Jenbach entlang in die Hoehe - oder per Pedes , Fahrrad und Auto über eine gut ausgebaute Forststrasse erreichbaren " Oberen Jenbachtal P " . Von dort die 1,5 km bis zur Wirtsalm unspektakulär zu laufen , sehr schön die Landschaft unterhalb des Wendelstein , durch die es geht . Die Wirtsalm ist die " Sommerfrische " eines Hofes in Bad Feilnbach seit 100 Jahren . Ohne Stromanschluss , wie bei so mancher Alm in den Bergen . Dafür mit für Bad Feilnbach üblichem " selbstgebranntem Schnaps " . Ein im Hof unten gefertigter feiner Birnenschnaps schmeckte zur hausgemachten Schokocreme mit Bananenstuecken Torte so gut , dass es derer 2 wurden . Sympathisch geht's hier zu und das passt zur umgebenden Natur . DrauÃen 2 Terrassen - frei oder überdacht - , drinnen zweckmaessig auch für groessere Gruppen , wie sie jetzt am 25.08.2019 zur Bergmesse kommen .

We had been on the road for 12 hours and had a great day, now to finish it off, had seen a review on this place and knew roughly where it was, it's small, it's cosy and it was one of the best meals we have had whilst we have been away, we had the mixed grill and pork and mushrooms , but to start a small salad with lettuce, a bit of corn cobs, some diced cabbage and tomato and a really tasty dressing that was a great way to start the night, the food was so tasty, and the Ambience was really nice, a great way to finish a great day

The restaurant is a short walk from our hotel and we ended up eating there twice. The first night, we ate on the terrace next to a beautiful farm field. The setting could not have been more delightful. This is the season of fresh mushrooms, so my wife enjoyed a well-prepared rump steak with homemade noodles and mushrooms in a stroganoff type of sauce. Delicious. I enjoyed the wienerschnitzel. As good as the meals were the desserts were just amazing. Try to save room if you can.On our return trip we sat inside due to somewhat cooler weather. Once again we enjoyed it very well prepared meals and the service was friendly and efficient throughout.

This establishment combines a well provisioned Bakery (with scrumptious cakes) and an adjoining Restaurant. The lady who seems to run it was extremely helpful with translation and nothing was too much for her to make us welcome and comfortable.On our first visit we had coffee and cake and our second we sampled the restaurant. Typically Bavarian in style, the restaurant is in two distinct rooms. The menu is extensive for this type of establishment and the food was delicious and well presented.Washed down with a glass of Bavarian Bier, all the prices are very reasonable, it is well worth a visit.

Although my husband is from the area, we visited this restaurant for the first time. Unfortunately, when I think of all the meals we could have had there! But let me describe our dishes: my daughter got a schnitzel with fries for kids that was not only really big, but more importantly, really good. The adults had a steak (really, really good and also plenty so that I had to leave some on the plate although I had barely eaten anything of my (also very delicious) side dish. My company had a fish and a pork schnitzel that were delicious as well. We were very sorry that we were too full to try a desert. Next time! This might become our favourite location in schliersee. It is not the cheapest place, but in contrast to some restaurants in the center of schliersee, you really get something for your money. And they have a nice garden and although it is next to the street, it is not loud. But even if it were, the food would make up for that!

This restaurant belongs to the same family as the Gästehaus Stöger, and the standards are as high. The menu is traditional Bavarian, the food good, but not cheap, the staff friendly and helpful. Closed Mondays and Tuesdays.

Das Bergrestaurant liegt im Münchner Einzugsgebiet und ist entsprechend gut besucht. Hier herrscht Selbstbedienung und das Personal ist recht freundlich aufgelegt. Leider hat uns das Essen nicht überzeugt. Bei den Kaspressknödeln dominierte der Geschmack nach Gemüse-Brühwürfeln und die Fleischpflanzerl enthielten viele Knorpel. Zumindest der Ausblick hat entschädigt.

Traditional German bar, restaurant and beer garden with views over the fields to Hausham.We love visiting here every time we come to Schliersee - Jurgen the host / owner always remembers us from previous visits, he is friendly, welcoming, cheerful and always has time for a chat with usSpeaks good English too.Great place for either a meal or just a few drinks (or both).Can highly recommend a visit hereHowever please note its closed every Monday and Tuesday

While traveling the back roads from Munich to Salzburg, four of us stopped at this typical Southern Bavarian "Gasthof". There is outdoor seating, but we sat indoors in a very comfortable wood-panelled room. The server was prompt, courteous and efficient. We ordered three pork roast with salad(7.70 Euro, about $10 each) and 2 pair pork sausage (5.90 Euro). In addition there were 2 beer, 2 wine and 4 coffees, for a total bill of 50 Euro(tax and tip included; about $70). The food was delivered warm and was quite tasty. The surrounding scenery is beautiful, and there is a church across the road that's worth a peek. We spoke only German, but I assume that English is also spoken. Although it is unlikely that we will be in this area again, if we were we would not hesitate to eat there.
