Innen gibt es einen kleinen urigen Gastraum mit Stammtisch und einen länglichen, etwas gröÃeren Nebenraum, denn ich nicht als "Schmuckstück" bezeichnen würde. Sehr schön sitzt man auf den beiden Terrassen.Die Speisekarte ist nicht besonders groÃ, bietet aber für jeden Geschmack etwas.Die Gerichte sind sehr gut zubereitet und sehr appetitlich angerichtet.Nur die Pizza war uns viel zu feucht!Der Service war freundlich, wirkte aber sehr überfordert. Eine zweite Kellnerin hätte nicht geschadet!Preislich ist das Essen übrigens fast zu billig. Solche Qualität und Quantität kostet eigentlich überall mehr!FAZIT:Empfehlung für ein gemütliches, zwangloses Essen mit Geschmacksgarantie und günstigem Preis!

This is typical Bavarian cafe in a wooden house with beautiful settings. The environment is beautiful too and you can combine with visit to some lakes around. Bavarian style cakes with fruits and strudels are excellent. It is worth visiting although a bit far from cities.

This place is always busy can get very loud with people inside. The food is superb! I had the meatballs 3 times they were that nice. Augustiner beer to simply devine. Definitely visit you won't be dissapointed.They have English menus and the waiters speak english aswell.

Am Heimweg von unserem Italienurlaub machten wir Rast bei Fischbachau. Und warum im Hatzlstüberl? Weil es durchgehend warme Küche hat, es fast 14 Uhr war und unsere 3 Kinder seit Ãsterreich hungern mussten....Ich hatte nicht viel erwartet - auÃer dass wir schnell weiterfahren und die Kinder satt bekommen werden. Der Eingangsbereich lässt des Gast direkt auf die Schankanlage zusteuern. Ungewöhnlich. Dennoch schaffte ich es, nicht am Zapfhahn, sondern im 1. Stüberl auf der linken Seite Platz zu nehmen. Die Kinder bekamen von der netten Wirtin sogleich etwas zu malen und bestellt wurden Schweinebraten und Backfisch, dazu die obligatorischen Kindergerichte (Spätzle mit SoÃe). Getränke (WeiÃbier vom Fass) und Essen wurden schnell gebracht und zeigten GröÃe. Einmal von der Portion betrachtet und zum anderen vom Geschmack. Auch wenn die Scheiben des Schweinebratens eher nach Kaltem Braten aussahen, so schmeckte das Fleisch und insbesondere die SoÃe vorzüglich. Dazu ein Semmelknödel vom Feinsten. Die Beilagensalate waren frisch, üppig und lecker. Und das ganze für rund 10 â¬. Super!

Wir waren als groÃe Familie mit 7 Personen am Freitagabend ohne Reservierung hier und wir wurden herzlich empfangen. Da einige Reservierungen da waren, teilte man uns mit, es könne eventuell länger dauern..... dennoch kam das Essen recht schnell in hervorragender Qualität und suuuper lecker. Die Portionen sind üppig. Der Service ist freundlich und das Ambiente sauber und urig. Wir kommen sicher wieder her, wenn wir in der Nähe sind.

While traveling the back roads from Munich to Salzburg, four of us stopped at this typical Southern Bavarian "Gasthof". There is outdoor seating, but we sat indoors in a very comfortable wood-panelled room. The server was prompt, courteous and efficient. We ordered three pork roast with salad(7.70 Euro, about $10 each) and 2 pair pork sausage (5.90 Euro). In addition there were 2 beer, 2 wine and 4 coffees, for a total bill of 50 Euro(tax and tip included; about $70). The food was delivered warm and was quite tasty. The surrounding scenery is beautiful, and there is a church across the road that's worth a peek. We spoke only German, but I assume that English is also spoken. Although it is unlikely that we will be in this area again, if we were we would not hesitate to eat there.

Very nice place inside as well as tables outside. The cuisine is exceptionell good and way above in quality what is generally served in Brauhouses around. At the same time reasonable price and perfect, very friendly service. I'll be back...

A Great country-style Steak/Chop/Game grill in a beautiful setting in Upper Bavaria.Servers present a raw array of exotic cuts from which to choose which are then grilled on the earthen hearth located in the dining room. A fantastic German salad is also available (in 2 sizes) for those who don't do the meat thing. We brought some serious wine with us but also enjoyed the local strong Dunkel Weissbock beer pictured. They do a wonderful job here. Can't wait to return!
