I was traveling with my family and then, on the road to Eu, just after Budapest, there was this restaurant. To order, yes, it is possible, but the best way to enjoy it is a buffet. Many Hungarian dishes were waiting to be eaten. Everything was fresh and tasty, and last but not least, quite affordable. If the road takes me again to Budapest, this will be the place to have a good meal. Only one thing is a downside. Stuff speaks English or even German language, but they seems to be somehow unhappy. The were not unfriendly, but somehow sad. Why, I don't know.

It is only 25km from Budapest, in a very relaxing place. We are offering freshly cooked homemade meals, comfortable rooms and barn for the horses. Hosting horse riding events and teaching ridings on site.

Interior is nice, seats are comfortable, tables are of healthy size.Food was great, service was polite. The only issue is that the waiter had a strong and bad body odor, that should be changed immediately.

Meat eaters will love the Sonka Mesters menu. Duck breast, beef cheek, spare ribs, smoked hams and salamis in abundance, served with a selection of pickled cabbage, pepper and cucumber all washed down with local wines at favourable prices. This is not fine dining, rather it is excellent eating in a traditional setting. Do make sure to ask for a doggie bag because the portions are huge by British standards.

There are many good reasons to visit Etyek, but definately Dvorak Pince is one of the main ones. Being in Etyek is simple the must to visit them and enjoy their food and drinks!Exceptionally hospitable owners Kriszta and Balazs, fantastic countryside spirit with authentic Hungarian homemade specialities!!!All warm dishes always fresh made and delicious. Every fantastic food and drinks prepared from own grown animals and fruits: meats, sausages, bacon, wine, palinka, jams, etc. Great place for everyone anytime, pairs, families meetings and friends events. Visiting them once you will keep coming back for sure! :-) Kriszta and Balazs, thank you so much for your outstanding hospitality and home feeling !!! :-*

Really, this place is marvelous. When you enter the restaurant, first you will notice the perfection for details and a very warm welcome from the waiters.The menu is enough, personally I like restaurants where the choices are limited. The normal soup was close to the best one I have ever eaten, the gift from the house, starter was very enjoyable, the main dish also, everything was fresh and tasty, as the French roasted coffee at the end.This was our first time here but certainly not the last one.Warmly recommend.
