It's 20 minutes from Budapest, so that You can enjoy the quiet and nice countryside but can still get a taxi back to the city centre. Enjoy a perfect time outside Budapest!

Finally found you on tripadvisor. We've been there in August.
Unexpected high class surprise hidden in the Capital's neighbourhood.
Our experiences: I had charcoal grilled tenderloin, and my wife loved the international cuisine. Nice service and excellent local and argentinian wines. Ask for cellar tour by the staff because exceptional experience is waiting in the cellar as well.

I've been at Sonkamester several times. I really like the place, with its unique atmosphere, and that it's in a little wine cellar. The music, the environment, all the things have the same style and this really upgrades the experience...
Off course the food is 10/10 as well as the service they give. I highly reccommend this little restaurant for any kind of visit...personal / business. :)

It is only 25km from Budapest, in a very relaxing place. We are offering freshly cooked homemade meals, comfortable rooms and barn for the horses. Hosting horse riding events and teaching ridings on site.

A had a trip with my motocycle in ( west) Pest Country and stopped for a dinner in here.
This restaurant has a convenient parking place for thier guest in their court.
The nice Terrace was almost booked with guest but I found a table for myself.
The waiter was polite , but the kitchen was not so quickly.

I was traveling with my family and then, on the road to Eu, just after Budapest, there was this restaurant. To order, yes, it is possible, but the best way to enjoy it is a buffet. Many Hungarian dishes were waiting to be eaten. Everything was fresh and tasty, and last but not least, quite affordable. If the road takes me again to Budapest, this will be the place to have a good meal. Only one thing is a downside. Stuff speaks English or even German language, but they seems to be somehow unhappy. The were not unfriendly, but somehow sad. Why, I don't know.

Rustic style family restaurant. We opened the restaurant May of 2016. Our menu includes mainly hungarian and international food. 100 guests can be seated, and we also have a Terrace. We have live jazz music on every friday and saturday night from7pmto 10pm. Playground outside, and playing corner inside. We offer kids meals, and diaper changing station. Live jazz music on Friday and saturday evening, from 7pm to 10 pm.

We enjoyed our time there a lot. It is a really good place with kids. The food was really good. A few things that could be improved: 1. although there is a kids menu we did not know it before ordering. 2. Little more options, maybe even vegetarian would be even better.
The playground is awesome. One note here: one part of the handrail was broken on the big climbing frame. Please fix :)

Házi alapanyagokból készült kitűnő ételek és óriási vendégszeretet fogadott bennünket. Amint beléptünk, érzetük a magával ragadó atmoszférát, a fantasztikus illatokról nem is beszélve. Mindenkinek ajánlani tudom, mi biztosan visszatérünk :)

Kemenes is located in Biatorbágy near the main road. They sell superb cakes, pastries and also food. They offer daily lunch menu, as well as weekend offers. (also salads, pasta etc.) The cakes are very good, the staff is very friendly and the place looks very inviting and cozy. Bright, modern decor. Recommended !
