We enjoyed a great Sunday lunch with our whole family at Zacherl Cafe. All dishes came with great taste and you really feel the cooking passion of the tenant. The food is all about good Tirolean cuisine and portion are more than enough. Don't miss to try the fresh venison and their home made cakes are simply mouth-watering. The restaurant itself is located 15 minutes uphill driving from Ebbs village and from the terrace you get a stunning view over the Inntal valley. But you can also enjoy the 1 hours walk to maximize your appetite. Also big thanks to the friendly and very attentive staff. Guess it's also a great place to simply enjoy afternoon coffee with cake.

Ich erreichte die Hütte zur Mittagszeit. Die Speisenauswahl inklusive Tageskarte war recht umfangreich. Die von mir bestellten Spinatknödel in zerlassener Butter und Parmesan mit gemischten Salat waren sehr gut. Die Bedienung war freundlich und aufmerksam. Entpfehlenswerte Berghütte.

Very well positioned for skiers coming from Munich or Salzburg direction and going for a week or two to the slopes of Tyrol, Vorarlberg, Alto-Adige and Eastern Switzerland. A two hours' stop for a delightful lunch means you check-in at your destination before dinner time while avoiding most of the worst traffic jams on route. Beware, though, that on the 4-5 weekends when a major number of Europeans travels this route it is highly recommended you book a table in advance. Typical Austrian no-nonsense cuisine, yet with a personal touch of the chef. Do not go for the Wienerschnitzel (though excellent), there are so many tasty traditional (but updated!) Tyrolean dishes you are unlikely to eat during your skiing time on a hotel half-board regimen or in the mountain huts. It is truly worth to take a tasting menu. My personal appreciation of the kitchen after the latest visit remained at 14 on a 0-20 scale. Wine list is hardly extensive or complete, yet the wines offered are well chosen for the cuisine. Service very friendly and attentive. Washrooms nice and well kept. Parking in front of the hotel/restaurant.The bill will not hit you hard, but note that the place is renowned as the best restaurant in the wider Kufstein area, so cheap is not the word to be applied. You might come across a local gentleman wearing a tie, but informal is the rule.

such a nice place to be,it can be easily reached by car or on foot and it offers a great view of the mountains.Excellent Tyrolean food,beware of huge portions.A must is the Deli shop where one can buy cheese made on site and tasty products (bacon0from the local butcher.Nice and efficient service provided

We stayed in hotel Hödner which is across the street and decided to grab a bite here. The place is typically 'Austrian' and would be really cozy if the lights would be less bright. Apart from that, service is good and the menu has both traditional Austrian dishes as 'normal' ones. Prices are reasonable and quality of food is good. Service is very quick, we got our starter within 5 minutes after ordering and the entree was served shortly after. Would come back here!

For locals this is somewhere you go for a special occassion. This place was such a special experience and I will definitely be back. We weren't sure if we should go because it is a bit outside of the main town center, but it was totally worth it. We had been out in the cold hiking all day and this was just the right thing. The restaurant itself is very rustic and authentic. We were able to immediately get a table for two although many tables were either occupied or reserved. I recommend booking in advance because it seemed like we just got lucky. It seemed like a family friendly place and the service was very good, attentive and super friendly. We ordered from their rather straight forward menu of good, home-cooked Austrian comfort food. I had a kind of taster platter with three separate items. They were all out of this world delicious. Such good food. For dessert, we had the Mirabellen Dumplings and they were definitely in the top 5 best desserts I have ever eaten. I can only say Wow when I think of the food. The prices were also very reasonable. The wine menu, while rather small, had some good wines on it. This is my top recommendation for dining

Charming, friendly owner/waiter, very good food, decent prices.This is a casual local place with a variety of pizzas, pastas, entree salads, etc.Main dining room is completely non smoking (still not always the case in Austria).There is a nice outdoor terrace out back as well as a children's playgroundThey take credit cards.There were several free parking space out front (and ample street parking should those all be occupied)We will return if in the area again.

Dropped in here for a meal last night while staying across the road at the Lambacher guesthouse. It was very busy (about 7:30pm on a Saturday night), but the waitress managed to find us one free table that just needed to be cleared.We weren't really hungry as we had eaten a massive lunch at Tegernsee Brausterbl, so we ordered drinks first, a dark beer (Dunkel) for me and a Pinot Grigio 0.25L for my wife. The Pinot turned out to be a rose!The menu was in German and I couldn't understand most of it, so the waitress brought us an English version and we ordered one meal to share (Shashlik with french fries). When the meal appeared, it was clear that this order was also mixed-up, in that we had a very full plate each!The food was very tasty, with the shashlik of meat and veg covered in a goulash-like sauce and the chips were the crispiest, tastiest ever with the gravy! Although full, I managed to eat most of mine and my wife finished hers off completely!The waitress was lovely, very helpful, and i think the kitchen screwed up our order, hence, only 3 stars, but the food is definitely worth 4 stars.P.S. I also am giving just 3 stars because the restaurant was way too warm, even when we stripped down to T-shirts. A poor lady on an adjacent table was fanning herself for much of the night!
