After climbing up to the ruines of castle Tolstejn close to Jiretin p.J. , after enjoying a wonderful birds' eye view from the top, you can have a rest in a castle restaurant. Quite a busy place providing however a wide variety of hot meals and desserts and beverages.

We came here for lunch and dinner. Tasty food with comfortable seating area. Absolutely love its seasoning and decor.Note that there is no english menu, only Czech and German menu. Please prepare your google translate (make sure it can offline work) , internet (wifi) may not work at all time, the waitress there is really nice but be patient that she is always busy.Children friendlyCan walk around the place. A nice farm next the restaurant with sheep and horses. A playground nearby as well.

MÄli jsme jet s klukama na Äundr, ale poÄasà nepÅálo, tak jsme se chtÄli upÃchnout v kempu MaÅ¡ÃÅák, nicménÄ, ten už nenà a je tam novÄ zrekonstruovaný a útulný penzion, který provozuje OndÅej Uherek :). Je to opravdu nezávislá recence, jen jsme se hned prvnà noc s OndÅejem jaksi dali dohromady na nÄkolika pivkama a naprosto famoznÃm kanÄÃm gulášem na Å¡Ãpkové. Jestli máte tohle jÃdlo rádi, tak je to urÄitÄ důvod proÄ sem zajet :), OndÅej Vám ale uvaÅÃ, ugriluje cokoli si budete pÅát, jeho menÃÄko je dostateÄnÄ Å¡iroké...NabÃdne také velmi dobré nepaster pivo, super Äisté pokoje a naprostor nadÅ¡ený pÅÃstup jeho i jeho manželky. Ondra se snažà vaÅit modernÄ, podle sebe a inspiraci bere od tÄch nejlepÅ¡Ãch Äeských kuchaÅů. Ceny jsou na to co nabÃzà až moc nÃzké, tak si to užijte než to půjde nahoru :).

Czechs drink Pivo (beer) more than anyone in the world. This thirst (excuse the pun) for the liquid gold has always given the world amazing beer. And the revival of the small brewery in Czech is blossoming.Cvikov beer is fantastic! Having enjoyed all of the beer on menu, I highly recommend their KlÃÄ 12° (literally "Key 12 percent ABV) - the name of a local mountain in the area´s folklore. The SviÄková is among the best I have tried (and I have tried quite a lot). The brewery was initially founding in 1560 and to this day makes AMAZING beer. So if you are ever in Northern Bohemia, you need to go here!

This time I have a problem to write review. I were there few times... It's really good food and nice place. But... There are some disadvantages... First of all always grumpy waiters.. No hello, no smile, no thank you, no good bye... It looks like they are forced to work there.... It's very disappointing... Second thing.. Arround is beautiful nauture... But very loudy music from restaurants speakers always disturbing me enjoying it...

In Marenice (and around) definitely the best place to go. There is a small garden and tiny playground for kids outside. The menu is simple but the food is really nice. And the place is really stylish.

Krasna zahradni restaurace s velmi milou obsluhou, velmi chutna ceska kuchyne, krajove speciality a velmi prijatelne ceny. Zde neni co vytknout, jen doporucit navstevu.Nelze platit platebni kartou, nutna hotovost.

Eine süÃe kleine Baude an der Lausche, traditionell böhmische Speisen wie Gulasch mit Knödel und gebackener Käse, dazu ein schönes kaltes Bier. Sowohl der Gastraum gemütlich als auch die AuÃenplätze schön gelegen. Sanitäre Einrichtung modern und sehr sauber. Für Wanderer, Wintersportler und Radfahrer perfekt :-) PS: Hier kann man auch übernachten - tolles Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis!
