As a vegetarian I often have a rough time finding food while traveling and my sister (non-veg) wanted mexican food, so we went to this restaurant and they have a really nice environment, mexican music, decoration and people, and they allow you to take pictures wearing their masks and hats. Food was really nice and tasty, I asked for a vegetarian burrito one day and next day for a kind of sandwich and both were awesome. My sister asked for Tacos and something else, and she was also happy with her choice. In brief, one of the best restaurants I visited in San Gil.

It's a restaurant without an identity, it serves literally anything. And it serves a lot of it. Whether you order a spaghetti or meat dish, you will not leave the table hungry. The food isn't great, but it's ok.The staff is friendly, but like in a lot of places in Colombia not in a hurry to help you. Our oder however did come through rather quickly.You can find cheaper places to eat. You can find better places to eat. You cannot however find a restaurant that serves you the same quantities for the same price. It was definetely OK.

PROS*If youâre tired of the same old Colombian food, these chorizos cooked in guarapo are a nice and tasty change of pace.*Each chorizo is 1.900, which makes them cheaper than the extremely average chorizo I had at the San Gil bus terminal.CONS*Itâs good, but probably not worth going out of your way for.

San Gil is a very laid back town-packed with extreme sports activities and many casual restaurants to eat at. In the midst of all these, there is a great restaurant that we were told some locals go to for very special occasions (not all because it is definitely pricey). The place is very simple / modern and atop a hill so you get a great view. The food was amazing. Their specialty is seafood and everything was great from appetizer to dessert. The prices are definitely up there but if you are looking for a little bit of an upscale experience or celebrating a special moment - romantic or otherwise, you can definitely go here.

Get yourself to Coffee House and order the bacon sandwich! We went 3 days in a row! It is absolutely brilliant. The juices are lovely, read is fresh and there are also many veggie options to choose from. They open for lunch too and have a great set dinner deal for the evening. In a country where it is difficult to come by fresh and healthy food, this is a top option! The coffee is, of course, delicious as well.

This restaurant has a great concept: you design your burger. They give you a little sheet and you can just fill out what you want. You choose your bread, your meat (or vegetarian), your toppings, cheese, vegetables and sauces. The burgers are 12,000 pesos regardless of how you design it, and you can combo for 5000 pesos extra (including chips and a drink). The food arrived quickly and it was the best burger we've had in ages.We tried the burgers at Gringo Mike's and Sam's Pub in town - this one was much better and cheaper. My bf and I ate here for lunch one day after reading a recommendation in Lonely Planet. There are only 7/8 options and the servers explain them to you orally (surprisingly not too difficult to understand for us non Spanish speakers) Everything was served very quickly; lemonade, soup, fruit, salad, main and dessert. We both got chicken with pineapple sauce and it was incredibly delicious! It also came with rice and mashed potatoes, so quite a filling meal. We loved the food, efficiency and friendliness at El Mana and would definitely go back

The owner is pleasant and engaging and the food was great. My wife still raves about the bean soup. The cassava was amazing.
