Wij dachten een gezellige locatie t vinden om een warm soepje te eten. De dagsoep was al uitverkocht om 12u30...er zaten geen andere mensen. Dan maar de uiensoep...deze was slijmerig en we kregen er verbrande korstjes in oud frituurvet gebakken. Een zeer slechte ervaring. Mocht de bediening dan nog vriendelijk zijn geweest.... Spijtig voorval.

Alors que nous avions l'intention d'aller à la concurrence, notre attention a été attirée par ce lieu et surtout la carte et les diverses suggestions du jour. Tomates crevettes en plat et blanquette de veau ont été nos choix. Un régal! Vous ne resterez pas sur votre faim, tant les quantités sont généreuses.

Fijn kleinschalig restaurant. Het restaurant ligt op een uithoek, maar het is de moeite om tot daar te gaan. Het eten is lekker en met verse producten. Het dagmenu is niet goedkoop maar wel zeer lekker.Heel vriendelijke bediening.

Itâs one of the few places we found open on an October Monday in Han-sur-Lesse and it could so easily have been a typical tourist joint churning out garbage, but it really wasnât. We were warmly welcomed both for lunch and a later afternoon snack, and enjoyed both. The toasted sandwiches and waffles were all very nice and at good prices and we were happy to have been.

Chez Mathilde is part of the Hosttellerie Le Ry d'Ave Sourd dáve 5 Rochefort.We stayed a weekend. The restaurant is part of the hotel. The reception of guests is first class personal attention. The rooms needs to be refurbished. Style '60. However therestaurant is perfect, first class service and fresh food. Attention: food in Belgium restaurants is more expensive than in the UK and The Netherlands, therefore order a menu and you will get with Mathilde a perfect evening dinner. Wine arrangement is value for money. Owners do speak French, Dutch and English. They are very customer orientend. Hotel is an old tram-railway station, English style decorated, We recommend this place in case you like to have a very good weekend in the middle of one of the finest places in Belgium. Stopped for lunch with the family, a good choice of different foods, massive portions (a bit too much for lunch really) at reasonable prices. Very tasty, well cooked with friendly and efficient service.Definitely worth a visit if you're in town.

We only popped into La Gourmandise for a beer, but it is often worth reviewing places to advise that a place isnât purely a restaurant, because it is often the case that you just want something to drink.The beer was fine and the service good. I must also say that, although we didnât have anything to eat, the food we saw being served looked pretty good too.

We had their fête de maman menu, good value for a very tasty meal. I enjoyed the starter in particular, shrimp ravioli in a smooth yet light sauce, carrot to add sweetness and spring onion to add a bit of bite. Really balanced set of flavour and well worth bending my no gluten rule for! Excellent restaurant, great food (countryside French/European), fast service (but they were a bit too stressed?). Drinks might be a bit expensive but we'll come back for the food!
