Our first night in Verona we ate at La Griglia. One of us had the lamb cutlets and the other steak. Wow! The lamb was so tender and perfectly cooked. The steak was cooked with rock salt and rosemary and served rare as requested. It was one of the nicest steaks Iâve had. The service was very good and the wine selection excellent. We had a local red, which went perfectly our meal. It was lovely to sit outside on a warm evening.

This was a restaurant in the neighborhood were we are renting an apartment for a month. Very pleasant atmosphere, attentive staff and pretty good food with reasonable prices but not for the budget traveler. We shared a terrific ravioli to start with. However we should have stayed with the tried and true dishes. The rustic pork was a plate of pork chops, grilled ham, bacon and sausage. It would have been better with more port chop and no ham. I had the grilled fish which was a bit dry but still tasty. They deboned the fish before serving which is good for some, but I personally would prefer bone it my self as they did leave a fair amount of bones in. All in all the meal was quite pleasant and we will return, but next time stick to the pasta or the steak (which looked very good). Total cost of the meal with a 1/2 or wine and water came to $50 eurosBObK

Siamo stati qui in coppia per caso e per lavoro e ci siamo trovati bene. Personale non troppo preparato ma con la gentilezza del gestore tutto passa in secondo ordine e abbiamo potuto degustare un ottimo risotto locale (consiglio vivamente !) al TASTASAL (!) poi carne salada trentina cruda ! Venite a provare !

In my opinion it is something of a myth that one eats well wherever one goes in the Bel Paese. But then, when you hit it right, it will be right.This was one of them. Well, it could not have been otherwise as we were taken there by friends who live in the vicinity and certainly know their food.Everything was excellent, and we had something like five courses. Renowned mainly for its meat, it certainly lived up to its reputation. Very friendly owner.And very good value. Was visited by friends of mine who were on a five day trip in the region a week after I ate there and they said it was the best meal of their trip.

I have been here a couple of times now. The steaks are really nice, and come with a platter of different salts to use on it. There is a nice wine selection available and some good Argentine beers too.The staff are fast and friendly. The prices are fairly reasonable but on the high end of reasonable moving into expensive.Thanks for coming back to our restaurant. See you soon !!!Pablo

This is a traditional restaurant which pays attention to what they cook. The Pizza Boscaiola was perfect and so was the pasta Calamarta.
