The restaurant "Trattoria L'Artigliere", is in the same grounds as the "Santellone Resort" hotel. Hidden behind an electric gate, it's a quiet haven, and must be sampled if staying nearby.It is by no means a cheap place to eat, but the food was a joy. The chef, Davide Botta, has earned a Michelin Star with the restaurant being classed as "a very good restaurant in it's category", and "serves traditionally prepared hearty seasonal dishes or lighter alternatives" (ViaMichelin guide).I was very impressed with this restaurant, and would recommend it.

Got a great welcome. Most helpful with menu choice. Wine was served by Simone with 'Slainte'...impressive. All courses we selected (and extra) served in style. All so tasty. Topped off at the end with a beautiful liqueur. So pleased we chose here. If you want a touch of class in Verona......go no further. Stumbled across this delightful little restaurant quite by accident whilst looking for somewhere to eat during a stay on the outskirts of Verona. Menu was in Italian but easy to work out. Great selection for kids and would highly recommend the seafood risotto. Although this was very much an authentic Italian restaurant and little English was spoken the staff where very friendly and helpful and we felt very relaxed during our meal. Well worth a visit and will certainly go again if in Verona again.

Iâve recently visited this local restaurant. Itâs located in a small village among the streets. We had a mix of starters, then spaghetti with seafood, deep fried calamari and tiramisu for dessert. Everything was very delicious except for the dessert. This is a very good place, they cook very well. Service is terrible, we waited so long while the restaurant was with just few people, waitresses look annoyed, they have never smiled.This is a pity because food is delicious.

This is a traditional restaurant which pays attention to what they cook. The Pizza Boscaiola was perfect and so was the pasta Calamarta. Parto dalla nota positiva: uno dei pochi ayce dove il tonno era buono.Passiamo alle note negative...Sapori un po' piatti e menù risicato con non molte alternative.Inoltre, personalmente, mi son trovato male anche con le bacchette.. Molto lunghe e scomode, e con la ciotolina per la salsa di soia, molto bassa e piatta (spesso sono arrivato a far fuoriuscire il liquido).Prezzo nella media degli ayce.

Buon sushi, con una vasta scelta nel menù di vari piatti anche particolari (vedi uramaki rosa). Il cameriere che ci ha servito era molto gentile e simpatico. Un buon all you can eat con prezzi nella media.

On our first evening in verona and staying in a nearby hotel we wanted a simple pizza meal after travelling. Unfortunately the one nearer the hotel was closed as it was Monday but the hotel suggested ventaglio. When we arrived about 7:30 the place was empty so no problem getting a table. The staff were very pleasant and spoke enough english, the menu also had english translations, so no problem ordering. We shared a caprese saled to start which was quite large, 8 slices of tomato and mozzarella, but at 9 euros i think a bit expensive, on the other hand the pizzas were also quite large with generous toppings, unfortunately though a bit watery in the centre, and more reasonably priced at 7-9 euros. The local valpolicella wine was good and very reasonably priced. We skipped dessert and finished with coffee. Total bill was about 38 euros. A few people came in for takeaways and when we left another 3 or 4 tables were in use.So this was a reasonable meal but we will probably try the other pizza place later in our holiday.

A friend of mine recommended me this seafood restaurant and frankly speaking I gave it a try.Its location is not the best, in the middle of nowhere, but food and service are quite unique. Usually I go to restaurants to eat well, not to look at its decor or overall appearance, so my judgment is very positive, Good seafood selection, including a selection of raw shellfish like prawns, shrimps and oysters, Also their wine list is quite interesting and varied. in this restaurant, you cannot go wrong. everything was good and we had a party of 10 persons. Wine, food and desserts where superb.I did read English review that they might be more concentrated on regular clientele and this might be true since it is not highly touristic are so they depend on locals you might need to get your Italian skills out to get better service but in terms of quality of food, this is the placeDear Guest,thank you so much for your review about our restaurant Vignal.
