Our first night in Verona we ate at La Griglia. One of us had the lamb cutlets and the other steak. Wow! The lamb was so tender and perfectly cooked. The steak was cooked with rock salt and rosemary and served rare as requested. It was one of the nicest steaks Iâve had. The service was very good and the wine selection excellent. We had a local red, which went perfectly our meal. It was lovely to sit outside on a warm evening.

Ristorante Don Giulio is the epitom of an Italian Osteria. Nice inviting place with a garden, warm and tasteful decor in the dining room and of course the signatrure of an Italian osteria- the chequered tableclothes. Serving a large group simoultaneously is not easy, and still the attentive staff managed to do it for a group of 32 in an efficient and friendly manner. Food has been typical Italian, from antipasto, to fresh tasty pasta, fish and meat, accompanied by local red and white wines. Makes one crave to pay another visit shortly.

If you are in Legnago area this is a really good option.This restaurant have the menu in Italian or English. A great variety of foods. The pizza is spectacular, the pastas are very good.A nice selection of wines. Good deserts. The portions are big.The service is excellent. The only detail, if you arrive after 7:30 (open at 7:00 pm) you may be have to wait between 15 - 45 minutes for a table.Is an excellent option.

And more importantly my parents were over the moon (we celebrated my mothers 80 bd)They are not too found of snobbish places but this was really not-We were taken care of from the first minute to the last and to me the service was perfect!The food was to die for and I cannot think of any reason not to visit this fantastic place (apart from the cost of course) that said these kind of restaurant do not serve food it more works of artIf you have the means dont hesitate-this is a true gem

Good local wine list. Sea bass and sole beautifully cooked. Fabulous pudding..tiramisu was wonderful. Homemade bread and breadsticks...Fabulous bottle of ripasso to wash everything down.Great service, nice ambience and very reasonably priced for the quality.

Myself and my fiancé went here as we wanted something a little different than Italian as we had had 9 days of blissful Italian food .this place specializes in paella and you can tell!. Itâs a nicely located place just next to the river with parking for about 10 or 11 cars. The entrance steps have red carpet so you feel a little special on your way in. The place inside is clean and fresh and has a nice atmosphere.We had the seafood paella (after we were told about the different types)and were very impressed by the amount but more the taste. I have had paella all over the world and most are over seasoned or bland tasting ... this one was perfectly balanced and cooked brilliantly. The man who was serving us was friendly and informative but not overbearing . We also had a glass of sangria to wash down our meal that again was well made.All in all a really nice meal. Very recommended!.

And we saw some of the same patrons from the night before. Pizza was never cooked and served faster, in my experience in Italy. We had too much the first night both of us had two courses and we couldn't finish it all. Had turkey and ham entrees plus I had gnocchi. Excellent cooking and preparation. We spied the pizzas and came back the next night for them. Not disappointed at all. I'd pass on the house red. The second night we bought wine by the glass. It was fine.Thanks a lot,we're happy to know that our restaurant is appreciated.Best regards.

in this restaurant, you cannot go wrong. everything was good and we had a party of 10 persons.
