This is exactly as you expect. Food is good and is just like any other location in Ontario. We had an appetizer a burger and chicken fingers. All hot fresh and delicious. No issues here. Clean, comfortable and friendly staff.

I had lunch here and it was ok,the menu is fairly typical of Pub Style food with some Home made additions.Pub needs an overhaul as far as interior is concerned, bathroom is nasty- food is moderately priced and decent. Good place for a quick bite if your in a hurry to get back to work

We were there for lunch. Dan was our server and he was really nice, good to talk too, and on the ball. Good job Dan! Now, the bar service, was really slow, as Dan had to get a barmaid to serve him. He delivered my wifeâs Diet Pepsi, right away, but.....There is a process issue here. I honestly donât expect to wait 5 minutes for a beer when the place is nearly empty at lunch time! Sorry guys, but you need to look at this. Thatâs why only three stars.The food was excellent, portion sizes, just right I think. Clean plates both sides of the table. My wife thought the Apple /Pecan Salad was excellent. As a guy, the ribs were great, as always.RecommendHi Sandy, thank you very much for your honest feedback. Our Owen Sound friends raved about this place, we went in for dinner and they were surprised to see prices were much higher then they remembered, especially when we noted serving sizes and quality of food. Portions were okay but smaller then most locations plate-we were hungry and all 4 plates were completely finished. We had an order of chicken fajitas, one boneless chicken breast on top of a bed of fried onions and peppers, and a smaller plate of toppings then I have ever seen! Toppings ran out after 2 fajitas. My tai noodles with stir fried vegetables was a little bland but I could have eaten 3 times as much. I was very happy however that they were able to make it with no peppers-this was much appreciated!! Hamburger and fries were okay, but only about 25 fries, the fish and chips were the only meal that stood out as a good sized portion. Overall, meal was okay but pricey and limited options to choose from. We wanted ribs but not on the menu. Service was very good, and the place was full so maybe we were missing something. There was a prime rib special, but they were out when we got there.

I have been here a number of times and always had a good experience. Their beer is very good and so is their food. The building itself is my favourite part -- a converted train station that is still very much in spirit a train station, great atmosphere and the view of Owen Sound harbour is exceptional. Last time I went, my daughter and I had the rhubarb sour beer and desserts for an afternoon snack. Very impressed by the shoo fly pie! They always have a lot of different kinds of beer on tap and very creative. I will return again and again to Mudtown. Always a must stop destination in Owen Sound for me.

The restaurant is nice - comfortable chairs, nice views, clean and bright. The wait staff was attentive and the food was good. The menu is simple and has something for everyone. I had a burger with a Greek salad. Both were quite good. My son had a large Greek salad and chicken bites. He said both were very good. Stumbled upon this amazing little spot. Everything we ordered was delicious. I forget our waitresses name, but she was friendly, quick and made sure we were taken care of. We sat on the restaurant side but the bar side looked fun. Canât wait to go back to try the crab melt!
