Just like in the old days we eat out at a burger place every now and then.We had 2 coupons for double burgers with fries and a soft drink each.we dressed the burgers to our individual tastes and had a bottomless soda each.I still remember the Harvey's in Toronto on Avenue Road North of Lawrence Avenue back in the early 1960's.The burgers we have here in OS taste very much like those of my youth.I LOVE HARVEY'S.The bill for 2 with coupons was $12.60.Great deal.

I often stop at Subway restaurants for lunch or supper when I am travelling as I find the food consistently good. A much better choice nutritiously than the regular hamburger places. they have a variety of breads or you can choose a salad option. The sandwich prices are reasonable and my husband and I often 1/2 one sub so can have lunch for 2 for around $7.00 or less.

We made a reservation for their Savour Owen Sound menu this past weekend not knowing what to expect. We were not aware that the dining room was open all through the winter on Friday and Saturday nights as well as for Sunday brunch buffet. Speaking to Christie, our server, was great! She was very knowledgeable about the food, the course/dining room in general as well as giving excellent service through our entire time there. The Chef even came out to see how everyone's supper's were (there were 3 other tables). The food was some of the best we have had in the city, definitely recommend checking it out!Thank you for sharing your experience and we are glad you came out to try us! The Savour Owen Sound event is a great way to try new dishes and experience new restaurants all for a great price and we were happy to participate. We hope you will return another time to try our Sunday Brunch or regular menu. We will pass along your feedback to the Chef and your server.

This is exactly as you expect. Food is good and is just like any other location in Ontario. We had an appetizer a burger and chicken fingers. All hot fresh and delicious. No issues here. Clean, comfortable and friendly staff.

We went for the Thanksgiving feast on Monday. When we walked in the hostess was very lethargic in addressing us and said let me see where I can seat you. The restaurant was 3/4 empty. We got seated and had to wait for the waitress. When she came she asked if the hostess told us they were out of mashed potatoes and gravy and also out of pumpkin pie. We told her no she didnât. My wife was looking forward to that. The waitress never came by to check how the food was. My wifeâs chicken was a little pink for her in some places which she gave to me. I had no problem with my regular quarter chicken. When we got the bill she was supposed to get a truffle but never got one. The waitress never even said sorry that they were out of them. We live halfway between Owen Sound and Collingwood and decided to go to Owen Sound because we have not been to this one. What a mistake.

Found this place last minute looking for a breakfast place before we left town. Decor is outdated which made us nervous at first. The service was great. Felt like you were visiting a friend. Had the eggs Benedict. Amazing! The home fries (shredded potatoes and some veggies) was amazing. All an all a great place!

We were there for lunch. Dan was our server and he was really nice, good to talk too, and on the ball. Good job Dan! Now, the bar service, was really slow, as Dan had to get a barmaid to serve him. He delivered my wifeâs Diet Pepsi, right away, but.....There is a process issue here. I honestly donât expect to wait 5 minutes for a beer when the place is nearly empty at lunch time! Sorry guys, but you need to look at this. Thatâs why only three stars.The food was excellent, portion sizes, just right I think. Clean plates both sides of the table. Our Owen Sound friends raved about this place, we went in for dinner and they were surprised to see prices were much higher then they remembered, especially when we noted serving sizes and quality of food. Portions were okay but smaller then most locations plate-we were hungry and all 4 plates were completely finished. We had an order of chicken fajitas, one boneless chicken breast on top of a bed of fried onions and peppers, and a smaller plate of toppings then I have ever seen! Toppings ran out after 2 fajitas. My tai noodles with stir fried vegetables was a little bland but I could have eaten 3 times as much. I was very happy however that they were able to make it with no peppers-this was much appreciated!! Hamburger and fries were okay, but only about 25 fries, the fish and chips were the only meal that stood out as a good sized portion. Overall, meal was okay but pricey and limited options to choose from. We wanted ribs but not on the menu. Service was very good, and the place was full so maybe we were missing something. There was a prime rib special, but they were out when we got there.

We didn't realize this restaurant closes everyday at 3pm. We arrived for dinner to locked doors, was very disappointing. We went for breakfast the next morning, and loved it. We both got the big breakfast with 3 meats - the breakfast sausages were great! We picked up a "chicken and fixins" meal deal to enjoy for dinner. We got a huge box of fries which were great. The chicken was good, not great. We were expecting crispy country fried chicken. It was house breaded, and well done, but not crispy at all. They also only had 2 salads to offer - cole slaw or carrot/raisin. What? No potato?? The gravy was good but the biscuits were dry. I think we had ourselves all hyped up for a great meal of country fried chicken and were a little let down. We will be back for breakfast if we ever come back to Owen Sound, and maybe something else off the menu, but we will pass on the chicken.

We were there about 5:30pm on a Tuesday night. We're not quite sure if it is the acoustics in this restaurant or the people that were in it. The noise was deafening! We had to yell at each other to hear each other. The food was good, but we didn't care because we had a headache once we left. I asked the server how she manages working with this noise level, and she said the same thing. She goes home with a headache every night. I have no idea what the solution is for them, but all I know is that we will not be back. We did not enjoy our meal.
