One of the best places in Nijmegen. They have local beer (serafijn is a must) and burgers, which come at a reasonable price (not cheap, but ok) and are also quite tasty. Burgers are served with chips, which definitely could be better (and the portions larger), and tasty salads (not just some stupid grass from the backyard, like elsewhere in Nijmegen, I mean real salads). Another good thing, this place is often far from being full, so there is plenty of space and empty tables, feels very good.

Our first dining experience on Dutch soil, and a great one it was too! Lovely Uitsmijter, delicious Kroket, and a great beer selection. Wait staff very helpful and friendly - highly recommended!

Hidden in the centre of the city, near the Grote Markt, is this nice café / bistro. On sunny days more people will be found outside than inside. Terrace is quiet; almost no traffic!!Good place to stay with children because of the playground inclusive water to play.Very recommended. Reasonable prices. I like the nuts/apple cake and the good quality of tea.

In an older (abandoned) industrial area where new places are popping up to enjoy a nice coffee or in this case a nice beer and burger. Stoom is a micro brewery with lots of different beers on tap. Mine, I like pilsener, was actually pretty good and since I was the designated driver I'm sorry I couln't get another one. The burgers we got all around were very nice and excellent size. Cool place to go.

The Blaauwe Hand is truly world class. The bar keepers are very knowledgeable and are more than happy to make suggestions. They have a good variety of local and regional beers from the Netherlands and Belgium. The food is homemade and tastes great. There's nothing quite like having a few at this place, with the beer served properly, in its proper glass. The afternoon and evening just fly by.

A local spot we like to go regularly. Very good burgers (also vegetarian options) for a very decent price. Burgers are always served with a pickle. I'd suggest to grab some fries with it and possibly some coleslaw. To finish things off, either grab a beer or a very nice banana milkshake
