Went here as had seen reviews that they did craft ale and wasnât disappointed. Arrived on a sunny Saturday afternoon and sat outside. The waiter was friendly, helpful and polite. The Gollum craft ale recommended by said waiter was delicious. The food, especially the chips outstanding. Would definitely go again

We had a great snack here when we stopped in for a beer. I had the nachos which were great. Nice restaurant interior as well, would definitely recommend!

Very nice watering hole, in old Sloten, just a few kilometers from Rieker Business Park, housed in a charming old fashioned dutch building. Had a great time with collegues having drinks and fingerfood at the bar. Snacks of ox sausage, cheese and various deep fried treats like bitterballen and bamihapjes on a large platter at about 22.50 EUR. Bar serves reasonable selection of beer on draught and decent wines. Had a decent Bordeaux. We later migrated to the tabled area where we enjoyed deer steak (25 EUR) and salmon with cheese and pesto (about 20 EUR). Great ambiance, inside as well as outside. Bar ladies are a little bit grumpy, but professional. To be recommended.

A perfect place to hang out with the most important ingredients: great friends, great drinks, great food and great music. Labyrinth is a really cosy neighbourhood lounge bar nicely decorated and with original programming and even DJâs. Not being a drinker I asked for a virgin cocktail and a delicious one was whipped up for me after asking which ingredients I like or donât like. Everything seems right about this place. The SKYY is the rooftop bar of the Westcord Fashion hotel in the Fashion district in Amsterdam West (close to the A10 highway). It is a fairly upscale, relaxed and funky place with good drinks and cocktails, some dining options and great views! There is a DJ Thursday-Sunday, but not rally a dance floor, although I think this could be improvised. There is also a more private seating/dining section on a partial second floor.

We came here for an early dinner right after the Molen Van Sloten tour and museum closed for the day. We were looking for Dutch cuisine and were not disappointed. The portions were generous and the service was very pleasant. Our waiter explained the various offerings since the menu was in Dutch, and our understanding is extremely limited. Our pork was juicy and tender although the gravy was a bit thick and sweet for my taste. It was fun to try the Dutch alternative of mayonnaise on fries instead of catsup, but I will continue to eat mine without either!

A bit akward this restaurant/bar/lounge set-up with a small menu to choose from. Staff/owner is pleasant enough but not always paying attention. Visited Drovers Dog on Friday evening for dinner. A relatively small menu choice raised my expectations however I left disappointed. I opted for the fish and chips and whilst it looked good I discovered that there were a significant number of scales still on the skin under the crispy batter - not impressed. Fish and chips isnât that difficult to get right!

A less formal simple dinner with colleagues while travelling. We were looking for a place to relax and enjoy some straight forward food. The Happy Bull didnât disappoint. We were joined by another colleague and although very busy the friendly and helpful staff were able to fit in one more. You do need to book. Iâm not sure you can be certain of a table if you just drop in. Thankfully you can book via TripAdvisor. The food was very well done. The onion rings were great. We all went for a burger of some kind, and the options are extensive. They cater for all tastes with chicken and vegetarian options also available. The craft beer menu was good with a wide range of US beers to add to the Americana feel. Value for money was excellent too. Three of us were well fed with several beers for â¬35/head.
