Good but not great - it is not trying to be. Very slick, formica and chrome contemporary. Now - how to fine it - when you find the address you will be at a multilevel store with lots of stalls for merchants. That is not what you want. You have to go north of the building and look back south. You will see a large sign on the building wall. The door is the unmarked door on the north side of the building.Once inside you go up the stairs. You order at the desk from the menus printed out on laminated sheets. Before you go to work translating the menus that are only in Russian ask which menu, #1 or #2, is in use then. It changes. We had the salad vinaigarette, 4 buzzy (priced per piece) and a mutton-noodle soup. All the dishes were very good but not great - but then it was not as expensive as the Tengis, where you should go for great food - and it is open till 9 at night. All in all, worth the effort to find it and we can recommend it to you.

Hotel comodo per raggiungere il centro di Ulan-Unde (anche a piedi). Un poco vetusto, mobili e letti che dovrebbero essere sostituiti ma in compenso molto pulito. Comodo, bagno completo. Colazione molto migliorabile, ma discreta. Si alloggia discretamente

Donât let yourself be tricked by the simple appearance of the place. They serve only one type of food and some salads, but the food is extremely delicious. Not sure if the staff speaks English, but I still dare you to try their food. Just show them the photo of a dumpling and the amount you want. They are rather big, so donât order a lot of them for one sit. Try 3-4 for starters and then decide if you want more (I myself did order a second serving). Keep in mind that you pay first, then get your food. I hope it will help you to order and experience this place.

We got advice from a local to eat here and the food was really nice. The location is a little bit behind other buildings so you have to know that it's there. Nice atmosphere and good food!

Went on a busy friday night. Staff recommended we take a private room because we had a large group and the main dining area on first floor had a special event. Glad we did because the event was very loud!Nevertheless service was very prompt and efficient. Starters were good, mains were OK. There were several selections on the menu that were not available, including several of the beers.Staff does not speak English and no English menu, but not impossible as the menu has pictures!There really aren't any good restaurants in Ulan Ude, but at least I'd go back to this one.

A restaurant with good location next to âSovjet squareâ (the square with the huge Lenin statue), very nice interiør, local atmosphere and fantastic Buryat food. Tried the 14 course menu ( donât worry, thats enough ) So well tasting and service descrete but excellent. Highly recommended
